Could be, but didnt the tussle between the two happen like 96-98. So surely it was water under the bridge by the time Holo drifted from Wu. Remember Holo is the midnight rambler.
Nah Holocaust wasn't even rolling with the clan in 96. 9th Prince probably resented the push Holocaust was getting from RZA around the Bobby Digital in Stereo era.

Does anyone know what order holo changed his styles? I always thought it went:
Holocaust -> "Dark City Choosers" -> "Deadman & His Stepson" -> "Mad Axes" -> Alcatraz -> "BSBD" Holocaust -> Robot Tank -> Sign Of Hells Winter
but im starting think the Alcatraz period came before his style from "Mad Axes".
Its confusing because we heard 4 styles from 4 different time periods in 2001 on Nightmares and Smugglin (Dark City Choosers, Deadman & His Stepson, Mad Axes, Alcatraz).
I need to know because ive been going through all wu-tang music and sorting it chronologically by artist/group for mp3 cds, and am having troubles organizing all the warcloud stuff.
Also, props on dropping another dope album Nova. Shit is much better than the Wu-Massacre and Manifesto. Take that haters!
im pretty positive alcatraz came first
alcatraz > holocaust (silkworm) > warcloud > (holocaust again lol, from the bsbd album) > robot tank > sign of hells winter

I was just listening to Dark City Choosers, Midnight in the Garden of Good, & Old Toy Room and noticed he never says Warcloud or Alcatraz in any of them. This makes me think this style must have come right after Holocaust. Seems like the most logical transition lyrically.
Some one really should have asked him about this during an interview.

no offense...but that album cover is...unfortunate. you should've just used the doom 2099 looking logo for the album cover, because that drawing looks very amateur. the snippets sound pretty good though.

I mean what the hell people are trying to decipher his 'rhyme styles' and all that bologna, with more thought going into the elaborate names of said styles than the actual verses that are spit under them. Ridiculous. I had to bust a couple face palms in this thread. I have to wonder if he thinks of them as much as yall do or if he just spit some shit in a verse and gave it a name that rhymed in the verse and then now yall are talking about how he should go back to the toy room or someshit LOL and even he's wondering what the fuck your talking about! If the word style is never mentioned in this thread again im sure as shit it would be for the best.
