Spain - Italy second round, why doesn't Italy get a 3rd place team to play against? the draw just fucked up.
I don't know how Germany didn't win atleast 6-0. They gotta start knocking these chances in. You got France, England, Germany, Italy and Spain on one side of the draw. While Belgium and Croatia on the other side. Belgium and Croatia got a serious chance to make the final.
If Belgium and Italy both win tomorrow Turkey go through lol, we play like crap but still manage to crawl through. Its clear though Emre Mor the kid Dortmund signed is the real deal.
To be fair, N. Ireland's goal keeper had some excellent saves but yeah Germany should do better.
Watching Spain - Croatia highlights, I swear I just saw Pique giving the middle finger while the Spanish anthem played.

Goalkeeper pulled off a few really good saves plus Müller was uncharacteristic missing chances. The Götze chance, while a fine save, should have been buried and so should the one only moments later which resulted in his substitution.Quote:

Croatia are a real dark horse. Immensely talented team guided by Modric who imo is the premier playmaker in the world.
impressive how Croatia won the game against Spain without Modric and without three players who'd received yellow cards previously. most of the time when you shake up a successful team like that it doesn't turn out well

Perisic was outstanding. he played for two teams in the Belgian first league a bit earlier in his career but I never saw him run back to help out the backs in that way before lol. I mean dude was literally everywhere. great assist and cool goal too
the penalty shot and the little conversations preceding it (about how Ramos normally shoots the penalty shots) were hilarious
looking at the technically gifted youngsters Croatia still has on the bench this team could get really far

Yeah Croatia have looked really good, the Czech game was a bit of a mishap I blame the Croatian fans for stopping the game for no reason, it messed with the teams head. The draw is open of them they can make the final and even win it, they got the quality. They got some amazing young players as well, this team will be really good in 2018.Quote:

The other side of the draw is incredibly weak:
Switzerland v Poland, Croatia v Portugal, Wales v Northern Ireland, Hungary v Belgium.
Besides Croatia and Belgium the rest of the teams are pretty meh. Meanwhile France, Germany, Italy and Spain are all on the other side.
after having watched the Hungary - Portugal game (that was a great watch btw) I think Hungary could wreak some serious havoc later on in the tournament. they have no problem going all out, there's endless energy on supply as well to put the pressure on when they're not in possession of the ball. they just keep on chasing and chasing until they get the ball back
I wouldn't be surprised if Belgian players & coach underestimated Hungary, played a slow game again (their first twenty minutes of today's second half against Sweden were dramatically bad) and got their ass kicked. on the Belgium-Sweden game ... could have easily been a draw cuz not many referees would have ruled out the goal Zlatan scored. reckless behavior in that particular situation on that part of the playing field? Belgium got lucky there. not that it mattered much cuz a draw was all we needed anyway to reach the 1/8 finals
that one side of the draw is the killing fields, just crazy. the way things are looking now I'm putting my money on Croatia (easy side of the draw) to play the final. putting my money on Germany or France on the other side of the draw despite Spain having played well so far. I think they're gonna have a hard time against the Italians

The commentator was so biased, before the game he said its the worst Italian side in 50 years and then when Ireland won he said 'they just beat one of the pre tournament favorites'
and we are out. I aint even mad, after Turkey won yesterday Fatih Terim refused to answer the questions of journalists who criticised him. Then Arda Turan said 'I will make the people who criticised me pay one by one.' this is the captain of the team threatening people. These wankers can fuck off, they made me hate this national team. I couldn't support it at all because of these bastards. Each player got a bonus of 500,000 Euros just for being there, more than the win bonus of every other team. They could shove that money up their ass the cunts. Well doen Ireland, thoroughly deserved to go through played like lions and the fans were great. Disappointed in Sweden, Zlatan's last tournament the team was bad though nothing he could do.
Belgium and Croatia both have a legit chance to win this tournament with the way the draw has worked out. This is the best chance both countries are possibly gonna get.
Also on the Copa America, Argentina just fucking with everyone there, I bet they wish right now there was a World cup cause they look incredibly strong at the moment.
