Why Did They Match These Two Teams Up It Makes No Sense I Think People Wanted To See Them Against The Bigger Schools To See How They Stacked Up I Know I Did. Those Are The Games Besides The National Championship I Watch To See If The Cinderalla Schools Can Beat The Big Bad Traditionally Well Known Colleges. They Dropped The Ball On That One.
Yea but Cincy beat an eventually higher ranked team in Pitt.
I dont think Boise State deserves to be there because they play in a much weaker conference and it is not a fair playing field.
Same could be said for TCU.
But the Big East is a legitimate conference, so i give them credence for that.
They put TCU and Boise St. together cause they didn't want to take a chance in either of those teams beating a 'power house' team, which could have very well happened. Nobody likes the system, except some of the well known schools, cause they get the advantage.
TCU has the number one ranked defense in college football. Nobody wants to face that.
How were teams like USC even ranked this season by the way?
Texas is gonna get fuckin SLAUGHTERED!!
LOL @ TCU / BOISE STATE LMAO
Talk about killing two birds with 1 stone.
My main man Bobby B goes out with a bang vs the hills have eyes I mean West Virginia.
LOL @ Dave Wanstache and the Pittsburgh Bums blowing that 21 point lead in the Big East Title Game!
Cincy should be playing Bama
TCU should be playing Texas
Boise should be playing Florida
texas:
oklahoma #20
ok st. #13
nebraska #21
cincy
south florida #20
pittburgh #14
so they at least got the big game right.
texas is going to get drilled
TRUE ^the Big East is legit..........if we were talking basketball. Texas has the second-longest streak of ten win seasons in college football history going right now in a conference of perrienial contenders. If you think some johnny-come-lately of a program is about to leapfrog us on the strength of one game......well that's laughable. You know college football don't work like that, for better or worse. I would still rather have playoffs even being in the title game but it is what it is and the Texas program has earned their prestige.
btw yall thinkin its no contest when we play Alabama are under-rating our defense. We've got playmakers everywhere. Win or lose I'm just glad we've got a chance to prove it on the field. Fuck the polls!
I just think Alabama is too much on both sides of the ball right now...
.....the dominated Florida.
If they have anything going against them from that win its that Florida can't throw the football, and we will see if the Bama secondary can handle Shipley and McCoy.
And Dunlap and Spikes were out most of that game for Florida.
But still, after seeing all the trouble a viable defense gave the Texas offense and knowing how Ohio State slowed them last year, I think Alabama has the edge.
I think they win by about 9.
Suh is a fuckin beast. A DT with 82 tackles for the season is unreal. He deserves the Heisman invitation he got which when is the last that ever happened? A DT invited to the heisman show??!!?? It wasn't nebraska's defense in general giving us fits, it was Suh in particular.
I'm not saying alabama's D is a pushover but I don't see anyone on the line that's so dominant a force that it lets them play with 7 dbs on the field for the entire game.
Also don't forget that Bill Muschamp and Saban are good friends who was with him @ both lsu and the dolphins. He's got a whole month to get ready to prepare our d against a guy he knows.
I thinks its gonna be a good, close game that could go either way.
btw no one should be comparing Suh and Terrence Cody, he's great against the run n all but Suh is simply a once in a lifetime type player
I think this will be a good game....My favorite part about Suh is he was interested in going the university of Washington and Tyrone Willingham blew him off....GOOD JOB!
Anyway, I think Texas will be harder for Alabama to defend so it should be an interesting game.
