But i woulddve NEVER thought we wouldve got the J Dilla beats that we got on there, thats one of the highlights, Beuty Hackson and whip with with a strap are no doubt 2 of the dopest songs GHost has ever done, J Dilla beats are PERFECT for Ghostface, its a REAL shame these two cant do an album together.

Now Ghost has sold some maybe he could go back to Razor Sharp records (is that still going?) independent - HE WOULD make another classic without DefJam hanging over him

I feel all the things that are bad with this album - are the fault of Def Jam modifiying what they want on the album.

I don't understand how you Can Not like Kilos... That song is a banger..

people need to let go of this Def Jam bullshit.....it may have mostly wack acts now but it's a legendary hip hop label with alot of good history. Ghost made the choice what was on the album Jay-Z or some white dude from Harvard didn't tell him what to put on the album if they really had FULL control some of them Doom tracks would be gone.

I am feelin fishscales, almost evrey song is perfect. The skits are funny but my pops keeps playing them joints over & over again. Heart street is only so funny to me. but to my pops. you would think richard pryor or sombody was doing stand up

I still do not understand all of the pretty tony/bpw hate

those were great albums. I know I must be in the minority, but I dont need the public and critics and sales to reaffirm weather I feel something is good

I just stoped playing pretty tony. that shit was perfect to me. maybe a couple of songs were weak in terms of hooks. But when have you heard a nigga rap over a complete song, make his own rymes ryme with the song, and show great range in his flow.

pretty tony was one of the best albums when it came out and it is still hot to me

I wish people would stop comparing his new shit to supreme or iron man. he grows, changes, and experiments. he should be givin the room to do that without making a new version of supreme

fishscales is not his bes album since sc, its his best album since pretty tony. each body of his work builds upon the other and he has a pretty flawless body of work

also I think yall niggas really fucked up by listiening to the advance and leaked songs. Most post are comparing songs & versions that they downloaded, it ruins the suprise of discovering the music and makes most of the post biased as shit.
If you had not heard the other versions of the songs what rating would you give it

did people do that shit with supreme clientel? have it in compition with the advance and leaked versions

I love fishscales and in my book it is another perfect ghostface album to add to his other great works

The more I listen to this album the more I am liking it. The only two songs I wasn't feeling to begin with were Back Like That and Be Easy. Kilo's on the other hand is a great track. Its funny as hell while having nice lyrics too.

However the two tracks I don't like are now stuck in my head :frusty:

Anyways, I dont know what people are tripping on, this is Ghost's best album. The whole thing is a brilliant story about his drug dealing days, and just about every track is flawless. The variety of tracks are great, from Back Like That, to Be Easy, to Shakey Dog, he does it in just about every way possible. There is some remarkable story telling going down on this album, and it is done in a way you just know the shit is real. I dont know what shit some of you are on, because this is Ghostface, there aint some other type of Ghost, so quit bitching.

Theres always the dumbshit fans that do nothing but complain and think artists just repeat their first album over and over again.

the cd's real nice, i'm feelin most of the tracks...
but it's dissapointin how there's no RZA produced tracks (or maybe i over-looked what's on the credits)...

8/10 on this one...

cant wait til Cuban linx II dropped neither...
