"It will be six weeks before he is back running, and we felt that the timing was right, in order for Dean to make a fresh start with the rest of his team-mates when the squad returns for pre-season training in the summer. We look forward to seeing him back to full fitness then."

You're right, the players should be disgusted with themselves. Apparently Reo Coker was the biggest problem when it came to the dressing room unrest. Apparently Arsenal made a deadline day move for him last august, only for West Ham to reject, and since then he's been looking to get out of West Ham, while causing some unrest along the way. i think scoring 3 against seville is too much for tottenham, this is a tough game for spurs. they need berbatov to be on fire against seville if they want to beat them. and by the way berbatov for me is the signing of the season in the premiership by far.

yeah he is the man now, keane is his partner up front, when they linking up right, they can put 5 past that seville team we played, they a decent team but spurs really are back up there now. defoe i think will probably leave in the summer, its a shame but i cant see it working out for him now at spurs.

MARIANO Gonzalvo, one of the stars of Spanish giant Barcelona in the 1940s and 1950s, has died at the age of 84, the club said on the weekend.
Gonzalvo, an old style inside right and former Barcelona captain, played for the club for 14 seasons between 1942 and 1956. He won five La Liga titles, three Spanish Cups and played for Spain on 16 occasions.
Gonzalvo III, as he was usually known in Spain because two older brothers were also professional football players, played in five of Spain's six matches at the 1950 World Cup, including their famous 1-0 win over England.
In the final round, the only time the World Cup has been decided by a league system, he played in the 2-2 draw against eventual winners Uruguay and Spain's 6-1 loss to Brazil.
Spain finished fourth at the 1950 World Cup, its best placing.
