that whole prison scene was sick!!!!
i spoke to 5 people about it and they all said it sucked
^they all must be nerds
i saw it, and it definitely did not suck. the problem is, they are marketing it as an x-men like movie by the director of 300, and it aint anything near that. so, dimwitted people go in and it aint a typical superhero movie and they say it sucks (not everyone who dont like it is in this category, but a lot of people are)
i thought it was slightly darker than the books, but the changes worked. very epic type movie.
ya they must be nerds because they don't think a remake of a graphic novel is super!
I just can't quite compare to you high rollers, im sure you all have your own watchmen pin and jacket on when you went to the theatre with your mom.
Oh and bravo they must be dimwitted also.. that must be why my head was throbbing from all those big words and pointless banter and garbage they had. You would think in a 2 and a half hour long movie youd be able to address some common questions. But you're right it must be because they're all dimwitted and nerds im sure. =)
its more of your perception going into the movie. i had never even heard of the comic book until like a month ago. never touched it. i had no clue what i was in for. went in with an open mind.
but a lot of people hear super hero movie, and think iron man, batman, xmen ect. you go in expecting 2 hours (in this case almost 3) of ass kicking.
but what some of us are trying to say in here was, yea that was a good part of the movie. some truley bad ass shit went down in that movie. at the same time however there was a lot more to it than the typical super hero movie. if your not into that shit, your not into it, you wont like it. its your opinion. but most of the people who really do like this movie like it because it was a super hero flick with the badassness of batman, but with a completely different twist. a lot of stuff that goes way beyond the typical super hero movie. it was just on a different level to me.
i think yall nerds
Yes it was, just got back from seeing it and it was great movie but did they have to show dr. manhatten's junk wtf. anyways it was dope even the nixon shit made sense yeah it taught a great lesson about mankind and after the flick i picked up the graphic novel. i'll say reading some of the graphic novel its amazing how practically shot for panel making of the graphic novel, zack synder did a great job producing and directing this epic.
because real people can punch through cement walls?
