LeBron is Jesus.
you know who's Jesus, and his name is not Lebron, what up Michael??
the interesting thing about the game is, that only Lebron + Hughes had good games (Lebron big, Hughes with his ankle pretty ok, 2 3's)
BUT the pistons where ready on every position, Billups, Hamilton and Webber had 20+ games, but Rasheed wasn't in the game at any point + Prince had to use his energy on defense guarding Lebron
so you gotta give the Cavs credit for their game, despite three good games of Billups, Hamilton and Webber
Who?... oh Jordan?.....totaly "FORGOT" about him last night thanks to Lebron. Sorry dude but the time is now.
Oh yeah! Fuck Ra-shit (Rosco) Wallace.
And those fucking ref's are blind!, when wallace "blocked" lebron he also foul him, you could clearly see he pulled LB's left wrist and they didnt call shit!, also the last play when lebron scored they foul him too and no call.
Anyways best game of the whole entire playoffs.
when lebron has 6 championships, 10 scoring titles, 5 league MVPs, a defensive player of the year award, and 2 olympic gold medals, then we can start comparing him to jordan.
until then, lebron is spectacular player who has the potential to be one the greats. im sick of these jordan comparisons.
my gooedness Lebron is crazy, rediculous, man that fu but Detroit will come back and win cause Rasheed aint having it....
Holy shittttt!!!! What LeBron did last not was WADE-LIKE. He TOOK over the last of the 4th and both OTs. Let's see if Cavs can finish it out cuz guys it's not over don't think for a second it is but I'm rooting for King James to be able to finish it. This is a great storyline for the league.
Real nice game for Lebron, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Pistons are now ultra hungry to win the last two games, like they did last year in the playoffs. If the Cavs end up going to the finals, I'm still predicting the Spurs to take it.
By the way, how come the Cavs don't play Snow more often? I know he's gotten older and all, but isn't he like one of their best defensive players? When does Pollard get to play? Is Wesley injured?
This series is O-VA!

you really think Detroit will bounce back from this? Lebron sonned them....badly.....oh dear god
word, after one exceptional game they all over lebron. yes lebron is an excellent player its one thing having a excellent game and an excellent career.
now u watch everyone jump on the cleveland bandwagon just like they did to the golden state bandwagon. i aint saying cleveland are a bad team, they have done very well to get here and if they go further good for them.
Lebron was awesome though i give him credit he pulled his team to victory.
Yes, Jordan was the greatest I ever saw, but LeBron is doing things that even Jordan never did. EX. Averaging 25, 6 and 6...and also he is doing this stuff at a younger age than Jordan. Obviously we have to see his career play out still, but after seeing what he did in game 5, its not unfair to call it jordan-esque.
I HATED Jordan when he played, mainly cuz he was so fucking good. I think that is why LeBron gets alot of hate from certain people.
there needs to be a rule where you cant start camparing a player to jordan until they have at least 3 championships, 3 scoring titles, and 2 league MVPs.
like nicky, there is a lot of jordan hate which is why people are desperate to see someone surpass him. sure, i can agree that what lebron is doing is reminiscent of jordan's performances. but as far as comparison, kobe, shaq and tim duncan are way more qualified. lebron's got some work to do.
but again, lebron is a spectacular player who has the potential to be one of the greats.
The Pistons truely dissapointed me in this series, not much else to say. The officiating was accually good tonight which was cool.
I would say "Well get um next year" but who knows who is even gonna be back on the roster. Looks like the Piston era is over in the East.
Just hope the Cav's can somehow defeat The Spurs, ill be rooting for them
^^^^you should keep watchin, it's worth it
yep, the pistons window for championship contention may have closed last night.
they should have never gotten rid of larry brown. the pistons need larry and larry needs the pistons. the arrogent attitude the pistons have of thinking they can flip the switch whenever they want to wouldnt fly with larry. they also wouldve had a much better approach to defense which is what championship pistons basketball has ALWAYS been about.
its like they forgot how to play hardnose D ever since flip came on the scene. im not knocking flip, but i've think we've seen that the offensive minded flip isnt a good fit for a defensive oriented team.
detroit really did dissapoint, i think its the time for them to rebuild. the cavs at the end deserved it i think gibson showed that we really shouldnt call the cavs a one man team. ilgauskas also has a impact on the play.
i dnt expect the cavs to beat the spurs because the spurs i think has the key to beat every team. should be a interesting series though.
^^^^as Flip Saunders took over coaching in Detroit, he said he wants to find the perfect balance of offense and defense - man, you can't say he directed them into the wrong direction, they won 64 games in the 2005-06 season with Flip on the sideline and finished with the best regular season record
oh man, wrong. first of all they held their opponents to 90.2ppg in 2005-06, it wasn't Flip that had an impact on the D, it was the new handchecking rule + the signing of Big Ben with the Bulls in this season
The Pistons haven't been the same defensive team since Ben Wallace left. He was an All NBA first team defender. The rest of those guys fed off of him. ITs like how the rest of the Cavs feed off of LeBron for offense.
This years Pistons were not a good defensive team. At least not against the Cavs. Cleveland abused them, and Detroit was smaller, weaker and less athletic. What they had was experience, but after last year, the Cavs had it too.
Rasheed should be banned from the nba.
what they did in regular season doesnt mean anything. the pistons arent a rebuilding team trying to get into the playoffs, they are a legitimate championship contender and when you have a lackluster performance in post season two years in a row, you gotta look at the coach. losing ben indeed plays a factor aswell. they should've never let him go, they should've payed him.
what flip was doing looked good when he first came in and they were destroying teams. but honestly that turned out to be not so beneficial as they thought that they could just outscore teams and forgot how to grind out the close games. in the playoffs you gotta be able to win'em close. that goes beyond the statistics game, thats about being able to get stops when you need them.
the pistons dont seem to have that killer instinct on D anymore, at least not when it matters most.
^^^^ok, I can live with that
and you base this on the fact he gets a technical every game. so wat the guy shows a bit pf passion and his one of the few players who would like to win every game.
For detroit i think everyone should take an equal share of the blame. when flip needed billups the most he didnt show up. rip was missing all series, rasheed would get fouled out too early. tayshaun had no offencing game at all.
here in europe we see it a lot, espeicially in soccer nearly every game u see a player go crazy. if rasheed tries to control his anger it will have a negative effect on his game. as nicky pointed out the refs do pick on players like rasheed. that just adds to the frustration i dont blame him for that. angry players are a part of every sport reason why we have fines not like his going un-punished all the time he does it.
every player has questionable calls go against them but rasheed is the only one throwing a temper tantrum and hurting his team with technical fouls. you dont have be emotionless, but going ape putting the other team on the line and getting yourself thrown out of the game when you're needed on the court isnt gonna help matters and its just gonna perpetuate his situation.
im not even gonna into how off the hook yall soccer cats are. smh.
Each sport differs from the other in terms of how angry you can get. But in all of them, their is a penalty. Rasheed bitches all the time, and they let him go for the whole series. They didn't T him up at all until game 6. He wasn't showing any emotion,it was all anger directed at eddie f. rush, the ref. he cursed out the ref loudly and had to be restrained. He deserved to get tossed.
Europe needs more control...thats why those soccer riots happen. You gotta keep things in check here in the States. Too many people own guns. lol.
how many times did the league dealt with the problem to control players like Rasheed? no matter how many fines they let him pay, he wont change, so the fines CAN only be a symbol of the NBA which shows that they try to control the actions of their players, once again - David Stern needs to be replaced
Sheed ain't got shit on Sprewell...
And I've got the Spurs in 6.
i got spurs for 6, i hope it goes 7 though.
FINALLY! TOnight it is here!
Cavs 96, Spurs 90
average game the spurs ripped cleveland apart. lebron couldnt do anything due to the fact that he had bruce bowen all over him and the occasional double team. i hope cleveland could put up more of a fight in the second game, so far they dnt have an answer for tony parker apart from putting lebron on him. and they have no answer for tim duncan.
