I like Fraction's Iron Man series alot, but I read them in the collections, I'm sure reading them monthly would be a frustrating "decompressed" nightmare. There's a hardcover collecting the first 19 issues that's pretty dope.
I always assumed Bruce Wayne had some kind of Ivy League education, but thinking about it, I don't know if it's ever been addressed.

i cant really fuck with a punisher pg-13 book after reading the max line for so long. its like reading a version of frank without his balls.

what the backstory on elephantmen?
^mad scientist creates human animal hybrids as soldiers, fights war, loses war, the story is about the hybrids trying to integrate into society...one of thems a CEO, some of them are police officers, some are bartenders, fighters, bums, etc...it's a slow burn, though...most of the stories are like vignettes although there is an overarching storyline.

detective comics was incredible...really good stuff...i need to re-read the whole run 871-881 at some point...francesco francavilla is now one of my favorite artists, especially his use of color...is it morbid that i'm mildly disappointed that...i'll wait actually lol

that book 'mystic' from marvel/crossgen is fucking gorgeous...the art looks like cel animation from a 40s disney cartoon...haven't read it yet, but it is sweet to look at

yeah...is that series worth checking out? i feel like BP hasn't had a good series since the arc that hudlin and jrjr did.
its fairly entertaining. im a fan of t'challa, so im gonna enjoy it a little more.
the first arc with vlad the impaler is actually a pretty good read. it lost steam after that, mainly cause of "bigeventcrossoveritis".
cause of the art alone its got that noir/indy feel. which you really dont see a lot from marvel.

wolverine vs the marvel universe is actually very entertaining. a great companion piece to punisher vs the marvel universe. art fits the mood of the story really well. marvel zombies done right. its 28 days later in the marvel universe.
Detective comics was boss of course, Snyder grew on me so much as a writer...very good.
i was disappointed that gordon didn't end up having to kill his son lol

bendis' moon knights kinda grown on me. last issue was pretty good and i've always liked echo as a character.

eh its not that bad, but i knew it wouldnt be too good anyway minus the awesome art..(for both actually) but ya uncanny x force tie in is good
^i've bought the x-force ones but haven't read them yet...the art sho is purdy, tho...aside from that, the only 'fear itself' tie-in i've been getting is 'journey into mystery', which is supermegagood...like neil gaiman level good. (well maybe not quite, but it's a good read and the art is boss)

i've been reading 'madman atomica!' and finally got into the 'atomic comics' issues...my god, these are beautiful comics...just on a pure 'comics as an artform' level, this is giving me visual orgasms...you weren't lying dusk...the madman stuff is now in my all time favorites.

and dude, allred is one of my comic art gods now, even more than he already was from x-statix and random other stuff...if i was home i would take pictures of the book, some of the spreads are just mindblowing...i love how he juxtaposes goofy silver agey stuff, awkward human interactions, and creepy quasi david lynchisms...i wish there was more stuff like this.

batman inc was cray lol the art was interesting but could've better, i love how the virus looked like the hyper-adapter from ROBW and the "feels like glass" was a clear callback to bruce's trip into the fifth world with metron from ROBW #6...part of me hates the dc reboot because it's fucking with morrison's plot, but i am jonesing for 'swamp thing' (uh....)
