My first impressions are impresive....most impressive.
I feel like it has a decent core which does go out in many directions
While staying within the vibe dimensions it set out with.
"Felt" "Miracle" & "Necklace" are serious

I kinda agree with uncle rukus and Longbongcilvaringz. i dnt normally post my opinions on here about wu-albums, but being a passionate wu-head for years i feel that I should weigh in my thoughts. Like is said before A Better Tomorrow is not the train wreck i thought i was going to be. Hell, there are tracks on here that I like. But its not this amazing piece of work everyone is going on about. This to me is their weakest album. This bums me out to admit. I really wanted this to be very good. Maybe I am being to harsh, or maybe it needs to grow on me, but I feel that based on their other clan albums, it should have an immediate impact on me. From 36 to 8 diagrams, I loved what I was listening to right from the initial moments I put on those records. I did not feel that way when I started listening to ABT. Maybe I am too much of a Bronze Nazareth, True Master, 12 reasons to die and Apollow Brown fan, or maybe my expectations are way too high. I guess I am not too much of a fan of this experimentation RZA is doing in terms of music. I don't hate live instrumentation. I so far love 36 seasons and I loved Adrian Younge's work with 12rtd. But I digress. This album to me is just okay. Personally I feel that it should be AMAZING, but oh well. I am happy for those who enjoy the album. I am more of a beat person and for me the beats on here were just okay. Some of the rhymes were good in my opinion. I'm going to bump it for a bit longer, but for now I am sticking with it being "okay". By the way, felt, pioneer, miracle and the track a better tomorrow were great songs to me. preachers daughter is by far.... one of... the WORST WU-songs I have ever heard! Peace.

The album is the greatest triumph of the human spirit
This album does not complete a cipher of 360 degrees. It expands your
mind and reality to the god degree taking you to 720 degrees of
knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It will give you overstanding of
knowledge of self and any negativity will be turned positive.
It will make tomorrow better.
It will also make you think there is too much Cappadonna and not
enough Inspectah Deck
It`s great to read this reviews from you guys, but for me, i only listen offical sound tracks, didnt listen the album. I will wait till 2.dec, and of course wait for original album. Im happy for Wu, happy for all ya killa beez, peace to all and wu tang is 4 ever!
Probably best album since Wu Forever but still not touching it or 36
Masta, Rae, Ghost and Meth stand out on this album
Wish there was less Cappa
Im gonna save this for when i get it as well. Heard the first four, Necklace made the album a must buy imo, very disspointed with Ron O Neil and Keep Watch, Ruckus In B Minor was ok i need to listen to it more but Necklace was dope as fuck. Hearing bad things bout Preachers Daughter and the Math track but ill make my mind up when i hear it.
Hold the Heater is too fucking dope!!!
It's alright. Really disappointing lyrically. Production is pretty good but needs less terrible hooks.
Things I don't like about the album - Too many sounds going on in the otherwise really dope "Felt" beat. Specifically early early in the track. Annoying imo. Just don't like 40 Street Black at all. Not growing on me. Hook/Nathaniel on "Keep Watch" is pretty bad. Hook on "Miracle" is kinda wack. Especially the intro with no beat!!! Just, no. Perhaps worst of all, we have Nathaniel making a second appearance on the album on "Ron O"Neal." No more Nathaniel please.
Things I do like about the album - Everything else. Shit is dope.
I find it interesting that many people online are just trashing "Preacher's daughter." What am I missing? That shit's dope as fuck imo.
The more I listen....the more I love this album. I don't think it should be the album they go out with but I'd consider this better than the W.
MK is MVP by a mile. Rae killed it too. but ghost and cappa weren't that good at all. it was nice to hear rza rapping again too I liked his parts.
some of the beats were really good.
but again MK!! all the cappadonna parts should have been replaced with more MK.
Miracle is real creative to have that 'Frozen' sounding chorus and that evocative beat, and then that outro, not to mention classical verses from the Clan. The album has some great music on the whole, comparable to Iron Flag and 8 Diagrams, which were not classics but were also good albums. We would have liked another Forever, but what you gonna do?
