I don't think charles is going to qualify for disability. If he has aspergers for example, those people still have to get up and work. They will also see he has held down a couple jobs for an extended period of time.
A tough job market that makes someone want to give up, won't be taken into consideration by the government. I have a feeling the options presented will be medication and local career counseling outreach for ppl struggling with adult add or mild autism. They can get a foot in the door regarding companies who hire ppl with disabilities and have quotas to meet.
Didn't he already say that a therapist told him that he doesn't have a problem and he doesn't need unemployment money?
