bad tush
thats it
has ghost/rae replied to this diss??
Ok of the good tracks you list - Holla used to be good to me until I heard where it came from and what Ghost actually did. Save me dear has a corny feel to it and the beat is just cheap same goes for love where its just corny. These two tracks I can kind of see what Ghost is trying to do but it just comes of corny. Tooken back is just wrong full stop and Be this way is just another average beat with average raps. Biscuits I have alot of respect for and that track is what Ghost is all about. Metal Lungies is just a track full of cliches. Beat the clock is good for the first few listens and the concept wears very thin.Quote:

If these songs were released here and there on mixtapes one by one then perhaps its ok but as an album they don't really add up to much. Especially as the tracks he released prior to the actual album are better than most on the album.
Be this way was a hhooot beat and had hot lyrics...whats wong with itQuote:

oh and holla is dope..u hate that he raped over a original song ??? well i love it...see thats the opinion
same with save me dear - i think thats the best song on the album - and the beat is the shit - when the sample starts and this"ghostface" pops it - thats one of ghost bests moments eva to me
peace
If you actually read what I said instead of looking past the terminology, I said that his verse was garbage compared to Ghost's verse which doesn't make any sense if you're the one who ghost wrote it.Quote:

Nevertheless, I like Perb's verse on Ghost Deini. He just can't be serious saying that all of Supreme Clientele was him(meaning he wrote it). Those are his words - not mine or anybody else's on this board.
And for the record, here are the two verses Ghost spit on Ghost Deini:
"Yo, summer time holdin the 9, split the Vega in half
Jeeps rumble and my dogs puff grass
Bank stoppin, high-derox hydrolic
Kid with the most knowledge will obtain to touch top dollars
Hold me down, hand me my cake, dusty, bake, activate
Fuck your corny debates
I'm like cake or maybe like $10,000 rabbits
The kid walked thru, switch up his accent "Now I'm from Paris"
Cash to build, frozen elements in gold
Signs from the most high causes me to break the mold
How the fuck was y'all niggas thinkin? You think I fell off the ledge?
The legendary Ghost Deini might be dead?
Never, Impossible, pull out black burners like tonsils
to Galants, hit 'em if we go to
Bustin at y'all niggas daily
Wall-to-wall, Hawkins
Suckin your teeth cuz God chain-talkin like
Ghostface this, Ghostface that, Ghost sold crack
Now his revelations spoken thru rap
Velour down like the Sheik of Iran
Gasoline CREAM wrapped in hospital bands
Model vans, Michael Davis, it's me against housin
Extraordinary pro-black, sold God creations to control thousands
Catch me at the flicks, Apollo rap Fredick Douglas
You know what? Eh yo, fuck this
Eh yo, how can I move the crowd?
First of all, ain't no mistakes allowed
Here's the instructions, put it together
It's simple ain't it? Well, quite clever
*singing*
Marvin, Marvin, you were a friend of mine
You stood for somethin, ugh
Tupac, Biggie, ohh how we miss you so
We want y'all both to know
We really love you so
Eh yo, I'm Gucci down
Wally boot, Jamaican hat, long 4-pound
Ask niggas how I get down
Don't speak much, deluxe plush
Imaginations hold a note like Willie Hutch
You might've bumped into me on the Riker's bus
Weed in my cheeks, jem in my beauty sleep, sleeve
Dead serious, knowledge by 2% triple geese
Come on, we juggle mic's
Three Card Molly amps, advance the finals
Show these niggas how the way we dance
Hot night, Jamaica
Came thru in a buger green '68 Pacer
Mad paper, high as a fuck, truck
2 rappers got stuck that night
I ain't sayin no names, they know who, thank you for the change(chains)
Outdoor event, New Year's Eve, Cali weed
30 seconds till we tear's the scene
Quick, call my seeds dipped in the crowd
The hoe spotted me, knew not to call my name out
He walked off softly, we exactly
Form like Christ and his disciples
Black fatigues, lethal-faced dunnie, he held the rifle
We had the whole shit shook, your favorite rapper's droppin they drinks
On the low, tuckin they links, we made 80 off the books
How can they even be compared?
Well, I'm sorry, but you were the one who compared them.
And I stand by my word that you shouldn't take Perb's words for face value here. If anything, I would assume that Ghost kinda bit Perb's style a bit, because he likes him so much and started this kinda whiney style at around 98/99 - when ACT came through. I'm almost sure Perb never really 'ghost wrote' whole verses for Ghost, e.g. how could Perb possibly ghost write for PT, when he was actually in jail?!
However, noone knows the truth in that matter apart from Perb and Ghost (and maybe few others), so - as was stated many times before - there's absolutely no sense in discussing this here.
But you should study history to see that the real big names in all fields (philosophy, mathematics, art etc.) always borrowed ideas and didn't invent everything themselves - although they almost always get the whole credit for it, as if in 1000 people there was 999 idiots and 1 genius.
Stop seeing the world in black & white - and this applies to sooo many levels...
Peace.
perb said he wrote for ghost, no one believes it. end of discussion.
