The Cold Vein SUCKS
The Cold Vein SUCKS
^dont worry guys he's from australia....
ok, so 1 beat in 10 years makes him amazing huh ??
i probably do need to listen to more stuff, but i'm really not feeling his beats, theres a couple of things i've herad that i like, but not much, probably not even an albums worth, sorry if it upsets anyone, but i dont dig his style...
i listen to hip hop because theres more to it than fucking Dilla & Mos Def.....infact.....did i say anything against Mos Def ?? cant remember.......dont think i did though.......so that knocks it down to Dilla........i believe you're whats known as "brainwashed", **i dont like Dilla, therefore i should'nt listen to hip hop ??** are you on crack or something ?? and yes i enjoy Asher Roths music, its fun, lighthearted & entertaining.....
oh yeah, and fuck you too cum sponge
It's hard for me to name specific tracks. Reason being that I noticed it on a mixtape named Harlem's Finest. There's a lot of untitled verses and shit on it, and some of them are rubbish. I'd have to go through it all again to name which ones, which I don't really want to do. One verse which I can name is his second verse in Shyheim's Furious Anger. One of the worst verses I've ever heard. It's Islord bad.

Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Kool G Rap are still dope
Most outlandish comments yet, but opinions are opinions.Quote:
EPMD is garbage
De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest have some classic songs, but in general I think they're wack

Underground rappers are just as bad as commercial rappers
90% of hip hop fans and mc's themselves don't know what a similie is, and call them metaphors instead.
All that similie, punchline, multi based shit that there's so much of these days is embarrassing garbage, and hurts hip hop just as much as all those hip pop faggots.
K-Rino is the most slept on mc in the history of hip hop, has been around for about 20 years consistently penning pretty much the best lyrics in hip hop, actually improving with age, and dropping shitloads of good albums.
Most rappers who try to get deep and especially political, or just generally try to sound smart, are transparently fake as fuck and embarrassingly pathetic.
Jus Allah is pretty much garbage. Vinnie Paz is one of the stupidest, simple cunts to ever grab a mic.
By far the best work Scarface ever did can be found on the first 3 Geto Boys albums, and his first 3 solo albums. Yet all these clowns who rave about how great he is haven't even heard most those albums, but only his later solos, which are ordinary.
If you read Canibus' lyrics on paper you'll find that an awful lot of his "rhymes" really don't rhyme at all.
If you're impressed by rappers "dropping knowledge" then for God's sake stop wasting your time playing video games and watching tv, and read a fucking book.
If you're white and you ever use 5% terminology seriously, then please fucking kill yourself.
jus allah runs shit, during violent by design era he had enough charisma for 10 rappers... he said the only reason vbd was classic was because he was on it...and i agree with thatQuote:

Hip-hop in general has become too fuckin compartmentalized and needs to get back to where a lot of different styles could co-exist comfortably. Modern fans seem to pigeon-hole themselves rather easily. "fuck that shit, I'm gangsta!!!" whatever you say.
regarding Lupe Fiasco, to be honest I never heard anyone rating lupe fiasco at all lol ... so I dunno how he can be overrated
about Rakim ... yes, I also think he's disturbingly overrated ... "god MC" lol
the difference between you and me regarding Rakim is that I totally respect him, I just think there's a Kool G Rap and a Big Daddy Kane out there that deserve at least the same amount of praise as Rakim does ... if you ask me I'll say BDK is a bit better than both of them
I really enjoyed Young Jeezy's album last year
I think Talib Kweli, old Mos Def and old Common are dope as hell
Both underground and commercial hip-hop are both dope, i dont really understand people who only listen to one
Sometimes i find ATCQ to be boring
Imo De La Soul > ATCQ
I havent listened to Wu in a long time
Hip hop lyrics (especially since 92) in general suck and aren't worth listening to.
"Time to Make a Movie" > "The Bridge is Over"
50 Cent > Cam'ron, especially diss-wise.
Any rap jam before "The Message" is better and more fun than your favorite song last ten years.
DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Dr. Dre and Marley Marl are all better than RZA.
If you use piano loops in production, it's very probable that they're wack and that you're a wack producer. You're not 4th Disciple, learn to live with it.
Modern hip-hop lack bass. Okay, that isn't opinion, that's a fact, yet it's unpopular again.
Among currently active beatmakers only Mike Dean knows how to use 808.
Afrocentricity is THE MOST destructive movement in hip-hop.
Big Daddy Kane is THE MOST overrated rapper in the world.
Most of beats on "Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous" suck.
"Moment of Truth" and all other beats Premier made in '98 are the worst beats he ever did.
Madlib is critically overrated.
Eminem is the greatest rapper alive.
Asher Roth is the worst rapper alive.
RZA started being wack arfter he ceased making any beats for non-Wu artists, that fucking faggot.
OB4CL2 is gonna SUCK.
Fishscale is the best Ghostface album.
Busta Rhymes is lyrically wack rapper, and the only think that made him good was his energy and craze on the mic. Since he gave up both, he's now just a wack rapper.
- Warcloud, Wisemen and Allmighty suck
- Bronze Nazareth is waaay overrated and lacks versatility
- "8 Diagrams" is a classic and the third best WU-TANG album
- All Generals are basically getting better and better with time
- Official US Underground Hip Hop sucks
I dissagre with a lot of your comments, but the beats on "Lifestyles Ov Da Poor & Dangerous" wack? I know their not to everyone's taste, but i love those hard dark D.I.T.C beats, beatwise that album is damn near 10/10 for me.
Agree with the shit before "The Message" though. In fact "The Message" is easily one of the greatest hip-hop tracks ever, and every track that deals with those issues since owes something to it.
Premo is better than RZA, and id say Pete Rock, Marley and Dre could be too.
OB4CL2 is DEFINITLY gonna suck.
Disagree on Eminem.
