Beastie Boys

lol.. cmon, 3rd Bass was aight, no doubt, but the truth is, they fell off.. cuz besides being white, they werent anything phenomenol. Beasties had such a distinctive style that seperated them from the rest and that made them succssful, built their fan base which remained for 20 fucking years..lol they made legendary tracks, Paul Revere for example, one of the illest story tellin rhymes everybody knows.. and like i said, they always kept it real and respect the oldschool and the culture. straight mceein over beats provided by the dj. they aint the illest lyricist, but who can not reckonize their voice ? all 3 of them have that signature voice. i aint shittin on 3rd Bass but in reality, they couldnt keep up with the beasties. when discussing real art, you gotta learn to seperate biasism and the truth, peace.

3rd bass were a classic hip hop group, the real school shit
the beasties cant rap! and they dont say anything interesting on their records!

^they did make good hip-hop records, but talking more historically the beastie boys made white rap acceptable not 3rd Bass who you ask most kids today won't know, but everyone knows the beasties and that is somthing to be said, they are pioneers in hip-hop and 2rd bass probably would not have been around without the beasties.

Alot of peaple think Sugar hill gangs Rapers Delight started rap. (Still a great tune) Not so. I remember it like it was yesterday. Double dutch by Malcolm Mc laren was out at the time. Ure clue is the person who invented rap was a women .
