It's still there. I never intended it to be something updated dailly. I just kept posting new threads with compilations of rare stuff and shit and I figured I'd collect them all in one place. When I've finished moving house and got my pc working properly again, I'll be upping three or four collections I'd been promising for a while.

I just made a couple of eclectic mix cds for the chrysler with some chi-lites, delfonics, playin with fire by the stones, cash-cocaine blues, a few tracks from the lou rawls blues sessions, instanbul not constantinope(oldies staple), bill withers, and many more of your favorites. Theres even a soundgarden jam on there.
There was a little rap in there from my youth too, Feel Me Flow, Real Muthaphuckin Gz, some Boot Camp, code of the streets, streets of new york, etc.
You fucks have to keep it diverse to develop into well-rounded people.

The last non hip hop CD I listened to was James Brown & Angie Stones last joint.
I haven't been listening to anything but hip hop for like the last few years straight. But one CD that is both haunting and beautiful is Hooverphonic's Blue Wonder Power Milk. As far as non hip-hop masterpirces... Psyence Fiction by U.N.K.L.E. It had guest spots by Kool G Rap and Mike D. Both of these CD's are 10 years old now though.

this track sets the tone for the album, if you dont like this, then i wouldnt bother with the rest.
Oh yeah, and you can buy it with a kids book written by Slug, i cant even imagine what the fuck that would be...
they have a series of videos explaining the album , some are pretty tedious.
