Because I needed something new to wank to, Mr Lincoln

Interesting that we’ve heard 3 tracks from the album (including that mysterious 30 second snippet) and all are solo tracks. With the amount of guests that he announced, I’m guessing he stacked features together.
Ghost has been saying in interviews for years that Nas and GZA are his favorite MCs, and that he always wished they’d done a track together….hoping he made that happen for this album.
That is a rough track if you actually listen to the content of his lyrics, really ignorant stuff imo.
I like the track but the fact that Ghost used the exact same beat as Action Bronson 15 years ago is quite sad

Btw the producer of the beat is called Metaphysics
banggggggggggggggggggger!!!
Hm
the named producer on ghosys says ray scavo
metaphysics seems to have died

maybe this guy found this old beat and tried to pass it off as his own? Idk if its just same sample dont remember but seems to be same exact beat. Maybe an ice waterproductions situation where they dont know who did it so just put homie who picked it as producer. Possibly in ghosts stash a while. But they should fix it cuz its def orher guys beat.
still weird. Wouldnt be supreme clientele 2 without a credits fuck up lol
i like it. P toney style beat imo.
For those that missed it, the 30 second snippet with AI video from a week or so ago:

LMAO, I just noticed it says PSHSCALE. Like it is some cat cocaine.
No. It says that Metaphysics produced it. Check it on Spotify.
all about the lyrics indeedQuote:
it's all about my lyrics
that make starksy so official
....
love to count money, sip goose
while i play with your vagina
Well somebody is insecure about his masculinity. Watch out Ghost, you 'might catch homo'. WTF.Quote:
i'm not about the feminine
yeah yeah i question men
your handshake is weak dog
your body on the estrogen
I did not strike me at first, but I see what you mean now.

This would make it inline with people saying it is atleast 10 years old. Though the K-Dot line would give it another 5 years, not sure if Ghost was so tuned in when Kendrick did TPAB. But lines can be added.
I keep forgetting about that Christmas album. The best thing that came out of that was me discovering Mach-Hommy.
Would not be surprised in the least if it had some sort of credits fuck up. Almost classic ghost at this point.
Being that the beat is 15 years old, and with Action Bronson, this could very well have been a Pretty Toney inspired one.
Ghost shitting all over Bronson then using one of the beats he’d already used is cringe as fuck hahaha
Thanks brotha! Sounds pretty good. Ghost just spoke on the album last night and said that he has joints on the album that are 20 - 23 years old, and he said Metaphysics is one of those joints....although I don't believe it to be that old because he shouts out KDot....so probably 10-12 years old most likely. He also brought out Nas to say he's the GOAT and that he was the reason to make him wanna write back in the 90s....I believe they played 5 or 6 snippets after, but the video cut out.....I'll find the link

Possible Nas verse on SC 2.....beat is tough to hear, but almost sounds like the beat for NOREs Banned From TV
Yeah especially now we know about the issues he has with homosexuality and potentially being the reason he has no good relationship with his son, this stuff is extra sad and I just cannot listen to it. In general whenever I hear rapper use homo or faggot I tend to either delete the verse or just not listen to the song at all. Sometimes it’s forgiveable, but there are too many songs where it’s just not comfortable for me to listen to.
In this case, there’s too many stupid lines about pussy and homosexuality or “men not being real men” that it completely kills the track for me and I have zero intention to ever hear it again.
Now that sounds like straight fire. So I guess the song with Nas is definitely new then.
Did not notice until like 2 minutes and that he has his pants sagging right there, thought it was just the big belly getting in the way hahahha :) Guess he really memorized the 23-24 years old part lol. No way it’s 2000-2002, but he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed so whatever. It definitely explains why GZA’s there though.
Asap Rocky and Nas were at the listening session
Thanks!
Exactly. Even more so, we know he is not dropping it as just a language thing. Like for example Eminem. This is Ghost really being a homophobe, 2025, and feeling comfortable about it with a kid who is non binary whom he clearly sort of disowned. It just comes across as a very insecure Ghost who is way too occupied with femine men.
You'd assume he'd do the knowledge and all that. Yet he seems to be constantly out of the loop, living in his own Killah Christmas Coffee world.
Yeah exactly, it’s not just using it as a random cuss word. He actually means all that shit. Well from the looks of it, he’s very bloated so my guess is alcohol and whatever else is a helluva drug.
LOL, have you guys ever interacted with a gay person in real life before? There's a 99.7583% chance Ghost is gay. It's been pretty obvious for a couple of decades. Technically I COULD be wrong but I seriously doubt it. In addition to how he acts, there's been a certain rumor about a certain Wu member for quite a while now.
He should've just been open about BPW being a celebration of his homosexuality, at the thyme. Ghost Showers could've been and should've been an anthem for rainbow flag wavers, worldwide.
The revealing of the mask was his coming out. mask revealed = closet out
But RZA also strikes me as that person due to him staying in that alter ego, not finishing The Cure, and making a calculated deciscion to have a child with Tekitha. Something friends would do if one of them is gay.
Would you say Tush was his commercial rainbow attempt? Makes sense with Missy. That song was even followed up with a song with the chorus "Last Night Changed It All"
Supreme Clientele would have been a lot more interesting if it would dive deep into Ghostface his internal struggles around his kid, and reflecting on it and the broader issues at hand. Instead we get somebody who has been in arrested development ever since the face been revealed.
It was sounding familiar, and it was weird to see the people like that while at a listening session. background music.
Been listening to SC a lot recently. It really is an incredible body of work I put right alongside Cuban Linx as the greatest Wu solo. I don’t care who wrote it, the sheer number of back to back classic tracks is incredible. SC2 is unlikely to come close but still really hyped to hear it. I bump all of Ghost’s albums regularly (even the “bad” ones).
(Note: the only track on SC I can’t listen to anymore is Child’s Play. Those lyrics have always been very suspect, but knowing it was most probably written by a man who raped a 12 year old girl…na)
WTF what’s this story? I don’t like quite a few songs on there and Child’s Play and Cherchez la Ghost are the bottom 2.
Exactly.
WTF is wrong with you, piece of shit. We allow this type of blatant homophobic, discriminatory and offensive talk?
What a wonderful display of ignorance and discrimination. To say “hiphop” is homophobic is quite wild. And you don’t think people should evolve and learn from their past discrimination? That’s like saying it’s okay that Texas is still racist and all we can hope for is that the people serve me good food, make sturdy cars and gave some great sports team to root for since that’s what should be expected and hopefully good to come out of it.
Fuck all this nonsense. Where's the tracklist for SC2 at??
What an interesting predicament, to be listening to GFK in 2025 and getting offended by his language.
Holy cow this comes out in 4 days! Hopefully 2-3 bangers on it.
