i'm working on a plotline/script for a scifi/horror/surreal storyline (initially as a film but that looks unlikely) and i'm a decent artist but slow and have many weaknesses and was looking for someone to collaborate with to eventually submit to image comics to self publish with them as distributors...pm me if you're interested.

ya ur right, Osborn intercepted some Skrull intel that Deadpool got and was sending to Fury. he used it to eventually kill the Skrull queen..so deadpool decided to pay Osborn a visit..walked right into avengers tower ready to take some heads.

^^^i tried to get into it, and eisner is/was a master artist, but i couldn't get over his sidekick (ebony white wtf?) which was a blatantly racist caricature. and i hate that people defend it as being of it's time, when a) it was excessive even for it's time, and b)eisner was a jew so he should've been extra sensitive to racit portayals during this era. i remember hearing how great the spirit was when i was growing up and found some issues we i was like 13-14 and was sickened by the character lol.
i did like the spirit comics darwyn cooke did, he's the man. (there's two graphic novels of those, you should check out, he's got the pop art style down and also check out his series dc: the new frontier, and batman:ego and other tails, that shit is brilliant ---some of my favorite modern stuff)

i'm not trying to diminish your opinion, ghostlaced, for all i know you've never seen those, the later spirit stories apparently didn't feature the character because eisner regretted it down the road, and those aren't reprinted alot as far as i know.
