The Spirit has its moments. Would probably be a lot better if someone else directed it though.

can you elaborate for me? i don't have hopes on the directorial front considering this is a dude that's been making comics since the early 80s and had never been behind the camera before.
The script does have a few weird moments.
You should watch it yourself, I'm not going to spoil everything.
It's worth it.

i watched Stranger than Fiction yesterday... great film! unexpected performance from Will Ferrel, Maggie Gyllenhal(sp?) was good aswell... and weirdly hot!
i ent been watching many films lately but i have been watching the wire, i'm on season 4 episode 3 and love it...its the second time that it has been shown on english tv (i think) and i decided i should give it a go after missing it the first time and then hearing everyone talk about it....but it is so ill...omar kills it

Paul Blart: Mall Cop - Loved it although the mall movie thing has been used numerous times.
Oorlogswinter (dutch movie) - Not bad but it was kinda bland.
Saw Funny People Friday, good film but a tad longer than it should have been.
I'm startin to watch True Blood anyone knows if it's any good?
