honestly,i totally see and understand your point,hence why i said its relative,im not gonna knock anyone who cant take those kinda styles or enjoy em because to a degree,i can see why it can put any listener off,especially when they have heard tracks like silkworm etc so trust me,i know where u are coming from and understand the other side to this argument about rappers like warcloud,i dont know,i think with me,i just got tired of the garbage that hip hop has become in terms of creativity and playing around with the genre itself to bring something the people can listen to and have all kinds of opinions on
and thts where i think warcloud achieved his goal,off all rappers in the wu circle of affiliates,this is the one guy who is either loved or really hated,u cant deny that this man has a serious following of die hards,let me put it like this,if warcloud got a good deal with promotion and a budget today,i can assure you,he would probably sell more than any other wu affiliate out there,the mystic and shock and awe style of his work keeps people hungering for more from him,hell even his critics will click that link and listen to his shit,thats why some of em are shitting on him,yet they are still drawn to play his music loll,see what i mean

if i had a label and a serious budget and i was an opportunist trying to make big bucks off a man who needs no gimmicks to be a gimmick,warcloud would be that man,with the way the industry is right now,it wouldnt take long before he is a revered artist ad most talked about rapper in the game period, bare in mind,snoop dogg still thinks this is one of best rappers in the west coast lol

like i said i was a big fan, you go back to some older posts of mine in this thread in sure the change in opinion would be drastic. but over the times, like you got bored with hip hop, i got bored with warcloud/holocaust.

with every new name and new whatever, i lose more and more interest.

The BSBD album quite clearly is a Masterpiece.
And I have no arguments that the 2 of them crafted each track impeccably-
Being there debut and the somewhat risk of using Holo.
But the ideas, the imagery, the delivery you can't take that away from him
People have said you could just read his lyrics and have just as much fun-
But to me anyway his "Main Voice" is unique and I bring your point up again :

You can't knock his creativity it's just whether or not you like the way he spits it voice/flow-

Ive wondered the same thing for awhile now. I once thought that he could flip the switch and teleport to the Mixed Forest Zone then flip another one and be a Robot Tank. Pro talked in the CM interview like he could rhyme like that still yet wishes not to.

But for some time I have been of the mind that probly cant go back, I hope that Im am wrong tho.

I can see all yalls points of view and in a way I agree with all of them. If that possible haha. I think that one of my favorite phases is the Later Alkatraz style showcased on Pro and Nu3trons Hip Hop Endurance and the tracks done for History of Violence.

I think it's also awesome just how many World of Warcraft references he adds to his lyrics. lol

this is from the BSBD Lost and Unreleased CD

the rebel spirit track is actually called Trak List and it was on a Pro or Gneticz tape

Yeah Trak List was recorded for Alcatraz's History of Violence cd that never came to be. Trak list ended up on Pro's last album.
