and btw...im lovin new avengers...its like..THE avengers comic...i feel like Dar Avengers is like the reality show version, where as in new..lots of action, fantastic pencils. secret warriors was dope too.
^^^secret warriors was too fast imo, the story was good, but i was more intrigued with fury's cyborg homey talking to the i'm assuming hydra agent in the department of the treasury.

i bought the unseen #1....the art is the weird, grotesque and exagerrated stuff you expect from jones...the writing was a little to melodramatic and on the nose for my test...i may buy the inevitable trade though.

^^^did you read gotam after midnight ? the writing on this is by a different writer (moench) but the tone is similar.

i bought x-men forever #1 it was pretty terrible...and i was psyched for the book, but the scripting plus grummet's art made it a turn-off...did claremont follow through on having the sabretooth that was in mutant massacre and stuff be a clone made by sinister? that was originally his intention
i went back to the shop today and i got new avengers which was great (i actually had to get 57 too, i hadn't realized i missed last month also), spider-woman #2...not so great lol, and batman 692...daniel's art is great but the script could use work...plus black mask's new look is shit lol but i like the villainous cast he's assembled here, his page layouts are nice and the coloring is a definite improvement over the bagley issues...and ignition city #5 and ultimate armor wars #2 for the warren ellis goodness
oh and that sandman the dream hunters hardcover is a beautiful book, even if you've read the prose version with the japanese illustrations this is a nice book.
