Killarmy - Warface anyone?????
damn this shit cracks me up, they just cut a part of the song, not even replacing the drums un loop that shit like if you listen to the biochemical equation and ghost's 260 sample original, i use to think they put more work in instrumentals, oh well
or if you listen to the liquid swords orginial, the same thing only speeded up, damn im surprised :D
point?
so how hard it is to make a good beat? just listen to old records and just cut out the best part, loop it and u have a nice beat, its kind of easy, so why do i keep hearing whack beats?
No wack beats in Wu world ;)
Gotta know how to work with'm
Uh, no. It's not exactly that easy. True, Wu-Tang (and A LOT of other hip-hop artists) have used beats that were just total loops (drums and everything). But for every looped joint, there's mad other beats that were made from chopping the hell out of a sample (check just about anything True Master has made), distorting a sample Public-Enemy style, playing a melody on a keyboard, playing a melody with live instruments, etc. My point is that while Liquid Swords and 260 and a few others are straight loops, it is very rare that you find a loop that's so dope that it stands by itself. Most of the time you gotta do a lot more work to make that shit sound good. One Love.Quote:

One of the true gems on that album-I hope to see an emcee get a chance to use that beat one day cuz I could hear that being a really dope track. One Love.Quote:

I'd never heard that instrumental, so that's not what I'm thinking. I checked it out though, and I'm fairly certain it's the same beat. So, I probably heard it on some mixtape or freestyle track cause there was an MC on it.Quote:

yo, yesterday I watched an oldschool TV-Series called "MASH". I listened to the theme and I recognized it's the sample of "5 Stars".
Maybe someone on the board already know this, but yo, if somebody got that theme, he could post it..
I need these Ghostface samples:
Bathtub (Skit) (The Moments - Not On The Outside)can someone help me? O:)
