I am still awaiting when Pleasr just releases the album. I'm hoping if not by the end of the year, then maybe in a small while.
I wanna appreciate the work on it, such as "Rainy Dayz II".

The real ones just ignore/make fun of trap and drill music and instead listen to Roc Marci, Kendrick, etc. I’d stop listening to hip hop too if all the music was trap/mumble/drill shit. But I still appreciate a well-crafted album, which (I imagine) Once Upon a Time in Shaolin is.
But I mostly listen to underground rap now. It’s not great like it was in the 2000s with Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and MF Doom, but some artists shine through
Im 45 too and just try to make what is missing from the game. Luckily I can afford to make stuff that only 200 people would buy, but if RZA called and said “if you ever in LA, come through to hear this unreleased Wu and beez stuff”, I know what I’d do. :)
Cilva throwing out random lines now about visiting LA and Marrakech, you are kind of funny.
You too Shaolinmonk. You are always welcome to come listen to OUATIS and TOUATIS if you’re ever in Morocco. Come through bro
PleasR made it as accessible as you can in the crypto world.. but this still isn’t a mainstream venture.
My ultimate dream for the project would be to buy like a $500 embossed silver vinyl set that came with a digital copy. Good for physical collectors who want to buy it but still. I doubt Ringz or PleasR would sell enough to break even.
Is what it is.. I’m in for $200 for $ALBUM and just curious to see where it goes, my small part of contributing to this project (outside of making up the Skrillex thing and making it into HipHopDX articles and Ringz book. lol)
A bit of a stupid theory I did was just plug in the amount of time it'd take for the countdown to go down, but it seems with how it goes down, it could take at best 6-7 years for the countdown to fully go down, and that's if it stays consistent.
Unless Pleasr pulls some magic move for the countdown to drop more.
What theory is this based on? Isn't it just ticking like a normal clock, so 1 second is 1 second? And each purchase takes of 88 seconds? Maybe once they secure all the rights and get all the clearances (from artists, samples etc) they will come up with a new way for it to go down, which likely will take years since there's a lot of money involved. At some point it should be something like pay $1 and it goes down 1 day, pay $50 and it goes down 50 days, pay $100 and it goes down by 88 days, pay $500 or more and it goes down by 1 year.
$1 is 88 seconds or 1 minute and 28 seconds if my math is mathing. lol
I've got my $200 in and that's pretty much all i'm contributing to this venture.
I've got no problem paying good $$$ for Wu-Tang stuff.. I recently bought Power's (Oli Grant) Gold (500k)RIAA Plaque on eBay for OB4CL for close to $2000 and I recently dropped over $500 in Vinyl to build a Wu Vinyl collection among other collectible shit... but This is all that I feel comfortable paying right now.
^Cash rules.. Show us pictures of your stuff
Not really an investment but enjoying it. I have this thread going, i'll try to get some pics
