For those who purchased the LAD record through us
Nah you good
Haha so people had to bite the bullet on that to get a chance to buy actual Wu group stuff? Wild
Not you yallasama
As if I didn’t know that, I said people who had to bite the bullet, so buy that LA the Darkman album. And I’m saying it’s kind of wild to make people buy that and then offer actual official Wu stuff while you for years have claimed you were looking into releasing that. Just odd that’s all.
Even moreso because you know how any Wu fan would love to hear it and would pay $$ for it, but hey, I guess this is to be expected of someone who came up with / was involved in the OUATIS project. It’s not about the fans, the music nor the art.
These days it's more so about the economics of highly niche projects to make sense for someone who has a family to take care of, and finding a balance with a consumer who has the same responsibility. Unfortunately Wu projects these days do not offer anywhere near breakeven if released the standard commercial way.
I can respect that, of course, but why not give the die hard fans a chance to buy it and go the route you’ve taken? I guess you don’t own the rights fully of those tracks and releasing it through something like bandcamp would get you sued by Wu members or something, so you have to do it in a safe way? Still, regardless if that’s true, I don’t see how would offer me a chance at hearing the tracks at your studio but not sell it if you are indeed doing that right now.
I did give fans the chance to buy it. Many did. Some didn't because it was too expensive. What's your point?
I'm a collector, but I don't have Instagram, Twitter/X, etc.
Saw the one more cup remix art looked cool. Like the original but wasnt craziest beat ever. Prefer frukwans one cup to rzas one more cup but came outta nowhere so was cool for the time it dropped.
