yup we're out,italy did pretty well if you think about it,we were playing without some of our best players,which are also some of the world's best players (pirlo & cannavaro)
it was a pretty even game,and then we got booted with fucking penalty's.

ROME -- Italy coach Roberto Donadoni will likely have the remaining two years on his contract annulled without formally being fired, the Italian football federation indicated Wednesday.
Donadoni is expected to soon be replaced by his predecessor, Marcello Lippi, after Italy lost to Spain in the quarter-finals of the European Championship on Sunday.
Donadoni signed a two-year extension before the tournament, but the deal includes an escape clause that can be put into effect within 10 days of Italy's loss.
"The contract stipulates that if the team does not reach the semifinals, both sides have 10 days to validate the contract or consider the situation no longer suitable and therefore annulled," federation president Giancarlo Abete told local media at an Italian Olympic Committee meeting.
"So, I would not have to fire anyone if we decide not to confirm the coach, with whom I must speak with in the next few days. The agreement stipulates simply that the deal be voided."
Abete and Donadoni have both indicated that the coach will not receive any sort of payoff if the contract is voided. Donadoni has guided Italy to 13 wins, five draws and five losses.
Donadoni was the wrong guy for Italy. i like how its been annulled. so he aint fired. that means he cant get compensation from the FA. i bet after the Spain game he found a horses head in his bed. thats why its annulled.

second goal was definatly the goalies fault, where the hell was he going?
third goal was some outside mids fault i belive. he came out way to hard, over commiting, lahm did a little fake out, the guy slips, and than he goes around him makes that pass and keeps going for the get back. the center back also could have played that a little better, slightly shifting to the left would have maybe prevented the pass even being made, or atleast given him a little better position to cut off a shot.
