^ Eto'o is injured for another month or so I believe, he did it in pre-season.
Ronaldinho is chilled, I dunno what people expect when a team with Henry, Messi, Iniesta, Xavi etc are in, they all can't take centre stage at the same time, particularly as Messi wants to step up.
Ronaldinho isn't even Brazil's best player, that title goes to Kaka. I'd be very suprised if he was in the top 3 for world player of the year this time, I'd say it'll go:
Kaka
Drogba/Pirlo/Ibrahimovic
Cristiano Ronaldo (though his impact in europe was marginal til quarter finals)

ronnie needs to be the center of his team to be successful. there are too many big players on barca for him to play his best. it seems odd but its true. he needs to have the ball more than everyone else. but with messi henry eto'o ect, it cant happen. notice why he was at his sickiest when it was just basically him an eto'o. as messi got bigger his dropped a bit, now with henry i think it will only happen more.

just an observation, but watching barca play recently they seem very crowded in attacking midfield.
but its working for them, they look formiddable this season.

im really liking the way arsenal are playing this year. well, its the same as they always play (fast ball movement, lots of short passes), their guys are just finally growing into their own and finishing plays.

I'm not sure about Arsenal being the best footballing side in the league though, attacking wise they're only equal to Man Utd and have had only one big game to deal with so far (Spurs), and we actually play more passes than they do, a suprising statistic for a lot of people. As for Messi being in the world player top 3, he didn't have a better season than either Kaka, Drogba, or Ronaldo, his talent is undoubted but he was injured an awful lot, this tokenism for South American players is gettting tedious. i liked Gerets, he did a lot with galatasaray with the players he had. he was the one who brought Ribery to galatasaray and insisted on his signing. so he is a good talent scout. his a solid manager not great, he does have his flaws. one major one being that he doesnt get involved in the game too much. for example if the team is losing he would wait until the 80th minute to make a change. he got a lot of criticism for that.Quote:
