Yeah but you know how the Mets get towards the end of the season. I haven't checked the standings in probably a week but aren't the Braves in first place in the NL East right now? That division has been back n forth so far. Gotta think the Phillies will get their shit together sooner or later and take a grip on it. Don't know if the Wild card will come outta the East either in that league. Mets pitching hasn't been bad but I just don't buy in to Pelfrey and Takahasi [sp?] being able to keep it up.

Mets started in first, dropped to last, two weeks later back in first, a week and a half later in last and right now we're in third 1/2 behind Philly, 2.5 behind Atlanta, but now that Maine and Perez are out of the rotation we've turned a corner. Elmer Dessens has turned into a really nice set up man. Frankie has been erratic at times, but our biggest problem right now is what to do with Beltran when he comes back. Pagan has been our most clutch hitter this season and plays a great center and Frenchy is on fire. It certainly sets us up to get a quality starter at the deadline. We're buying at the break.

Word. Ike Davis has been pretty damn good too. He a rookie right?

Ike has been pretty good considering he has been thrust into the clean up spot wedged in between Bay and Wright. He hit a walk off homer yesterday, and his defense is great, but his average leaves a lot to be desired.

Just wondering if ya'll had heard of him up there. He thinks highly of himself so I figured he had credentials up there as maybe being on the radio other than just down here. But he does handicap, rather, did in the past. Pretty damn good and refreshing radio host to what's otherwise some lame ass sports talk in Miami.

Yeah He Got Drafted Before I Was Willing To Take Him In My League But In Retrospect Wouldn't Of Been A Bad Pick Considering Some Of The Pitchers I Did Draft. Yankees Are Back Where They Belong In First Place Tied With Tampa Bring On The Phillies I Will Take A Repeat Of Last Year With The Yankees Taking Em Out. First Game Tuesday Is Halladay Vs. CC Big Time Matchup.

Doubt It He's Getting People In The Seats Most Teams Atleast Keep That One Guy Like Everyone Thought Mauer Would Be A Yankee/Redsox/Etc. But The Twins Had To Keep Him The Nationals Will Keep Strasburg. If Anything I Dont Know What Zimmermans Contract Looks Like Or When It Ends (But With Harper Coming Up Eventually) He Will Probably Be The Casualty.
