river plate - botafogo, copa sur americana, botafogo scored their 2nd goal at the 20th minute of 2nd time (2-1) so that river had to put 3 in 25 minutes to qualify, and they got one more red card (2 for river, 1 for botafogo)
and they did it, with the last goal in the last seconds!!!
don't like river, hate passarela, but what a great game they did...

and chelsea, sucks for them. sheva needs to get the fuck out of there. they dont know how to use him. hes not someone who does anything but score goals, thats why he was good at milan, he didnt have to create or make things happen, he just finished stuff from pirlo and kaka. in chelsea they make him do things and hes tripping over the ball, has bad control, looks akward. i feel bad for him.
yeah sheva jus looks out of place. i dnt think his happy at all, probably realised how much of a mistake he made by moving away from ac milan.

mikels foul was not a red card. that was bunk, shoulda been a yellow. joe coles foul later in the game was definatly a red card. either way its easier to score with 11 than 10 so who knows.

as for mikel, he went in studs up, in the rules of the game, going in studs up is punished by a red card.

I doubt Celtic will have to play behind closed doors because of this, Milan have already said they're not lodging a formal complaint. Dida made a bit of a meal of it though, all he got was a little slap and for some reason had to go off on a stretcher,a tad melodramatic. Still, credit where credit is due, Celtic got the edge in an otherwise dull game of football.
and dive of the year goes to dida. again a milanese player gets the dive of the year and again it's against celtic. boy those kilt lifters bring out the best in milan eh

I enjoyed my night yesterday, we really dominated during the match (except of course the last minutes) and the victory is deserved. Marseille played its best football since the beginning of the season, and showed they had a huge potential, we can really hope a qualification.
