dark avengers annual #1 spoils the end of captain america reborn lol
i take back my recommendation of supergod, the second issue follows the same format as the first, a guy dictating his secret history of the world into a tape recorder in some post apocalyptic setting...it's filled with awesome ideas but the execution is like an illustrated plot outline...pretty disappointing, if ellis really developed these ideas and rigorously plotted it, it could be a genuine classic instead of a good comic.
seige the cabal fails to reveal norman's secret weapon...pretty good comic otherwise.
jonah hex #50 with some awesome darwyn cooke artwork...i may have to start buying this series again. i highly recommend this issue though.

I didnt like this week that much...X Force Annual was ok, and so was Dark Avengers..(especially thx to Bachalo)...made me remember that Bachalo does a fantastic spider man...he should get back on that. ddnt like Blackest Night: Flash that much, and Thor was ok.
^^^thor was surprisingly good...it maintained the straczynski feel pretty well i thought...but i think seige will probably completely derail it.
x-force annual sucked i thought, jason pearson's art saved the shit, except kirkman's script barely gave him anything to draw except wolverine and hydra agents...why do they keep giving pearson weak scripts when he's the shit? (the most recent punisher annual is another example)...i want a jason pearson deadpool comic dammit.
ya pearson is fuckin hardcore...he does the DP covers but he should be on the inside.

does anybody follow the hulk books at all? i contemplated buying the 'fall of hulks' but i haven't followed hulk since WWH so it seemed like a bad idea...
i just caught up on the last 2 issues of spider-woman...i'm about to drop it, i think...maleev's killing it, but barely anything is happening lol plus i read issue 2-3 in the time it took me to hit the bong twice and smoke a cigarette lol...not worth 6 bucks.
i feel ya on spider-woman. its really dragging its feet. BUT... i think it has the potential to be marvels best title if bendis stops streching himself so far and actually puts dialog in the book. i find it better than most just based of maleev, so i gotta ride with it.
seige: the cabal was dope to me. the art was tight & the osborn/doom face off was good & a long time coming.
and that last issue of new avengers was just ol' school goodness.
^^^ya...the last couple of issues of NA have been really good, but 'looky loo' is probably the best single issue of the book since the luke cage issue in civil war

read batman/doc savage...pretty good...this first wave concept should be interesting depending on who handles the writing and art.
