Chicago Public Schools have lost close to 40 kids to violence this year alone. Recently we had a 14-15 yr. old kid who got beat up, shot in the head, then burned, and was left in a gangway between two houses. Anyone from Chi has probably heard about this. The kid's family claimed that he wasn't in a gang, but someone posted a pic in another forum showing the very same kid flashing a gang sign along with his gang name. The kid was supposedly out of school since September. The problems sometimes start at home. Irresponsible parent/s are sometimes to blame. They have no idea who their kids hang out with, don't notice that their kids new tatoo is a gang symbol, then the parent blames everyone but themselves when the kid either gets killed or kills someone else.
Very true man. This is a fucked up world we live in but i definitely blame the parents for their kids being bad. Like i said, parents shouldn't be having kids if they aren't gonna discipline their kids. Parents also need to stop blaming the teachers and principals at these schools when their kids get in trouble. It's not the teachers and principals fault that these kids are bad. That's why black schools are always going to be terrible.

People point to shit like video games, movies, music and all that nonsense, when they don't go right to the source. parents don't do shit to teach their kids right and wrong, set bad examples, and then kids go to school already losing. then, the system is fucked with teachers that don't care or only have a job because the area is bad, and everything goes downhill. then when a kid does something horrible they break down how many times a week he wore dark clothes.
Good values seem to not get taught to the young anymore.
Providing food, clothes, and shelter is not enough to be a good parent.
this may be because people are becoming parents too young, and remember their uncool parents, and think they want to be "cool" with their kids, and let them do what they want and don't teach them anything out of fear of being a preacher or something.

I'm so glad i graduated from high school a long time ago. Some black people preach that education is important to get a good job but let's be real. Most black kids do not like school and i can see why. Some white kids and hispanics don't like school either. It's bullshit to me to tell kids that they need a education to get a good job because you can have a college degree and still have a hard time getting a good job.
I understand why most black men in the hood don't wanna work for a low salary. I don't wanna work for a low salary either because that's slavery to me. It's too many fucking jobs in america that exploit employees by paying them a low salary and they know who they are. If these low paying jobs can't get blacks to work for them, then they will get immigrants to work for them and that's wrong because these immigrants are forced to take these jobs because most of them have families and they need money to support them. Plus a lot of them don't speak english so they have to take these wack jobs. Sorry i got off topic for a minute but i had to vent about these jobs that pay bullshit money. I used to diss black men that sell drugs and rob banks to get money but now i see why they do that because i don't blame them for not wanting to work for low pay. I wouldn't want to be a criminal to get money because i'm afraid of prison but i wish i had some job skills that paid good so i could get a good job. I really don't feel like going back to school to learn some job skills that pay good because school sucks to me and school is too expensive. Plus i'm not good at trying to learn hard jobs because i've done factory work and i've worked for a beverage company before so i know what hard work is. Those jobs didn't pay me a good salary by the way.
But getting back to topic about black schools and bad black kids, black schools will always suck because the reality is most black kids don't wanna learn because school is boring to them and i can relate to that. But what they need to realize is that without a education, they will forever have to settle for low paying jobs. I know a lot of poor black kids want good paying jobs but they gotta have a high education for good jobs and most of them won't go to college after high school because most of them will drop outta high school and turn to crime to get money. Plus a lot of them won't wear a white shirt, a tie and casual shoes to get a job and whether they like it or not, you have to impress the job supervisor who most of the time is white to get a job. Ignorant blacks think that if you dress up for a job that you're trying to be white and kiss white people's asses but that's bullshit. I don't kiss nobody's ass when i try to get a job. I do what i gotta do to get that job and dressing up and speaking proper is gonna help me get a job. That's why i've had 2 jobs most of my life because i know what to do to get a job.
