Who you guys got on David Haye-Nikolai Valuev?
damn
JT walk away from boxing, before they have to carry you away
and I don't mean on someones shoulders in celebration
I called this one when it was announced. Taylor is mentally ruined for the rest of his career lol. 4 brutal KO's back to back...damn. He may survive the second round but when he has to fight Kessler it's another KO loss, guatanteed. Who do ya'll have to win the super-middle tournament? I'm sayin Abraham...
am going with Abraham, I see why kelly did not want to fight him. it be nice to see ward win though
if Taylor fights again (am hearing he might drop out) he will lose, every other boxer is better then JT right now
btw this tournament is a great Idea
did show time come up with it?
Yeah one of the two main dudes who put this together is a Showtime exec, I believe. I forget who the other promoter is... Where did you hear about him pulling out?
he has not yet, but they were talking about it on ESPN.com
Damn, i forgot all about that fight being yesterday.
Something tells me JT won't pull out, but I agree with Abraham winning this tournament most probably. He is physically strong and mentally given a great boost. I don't see a good opponent.
i agree with most of what you said apart from that last comment.
Kessler and Abraham fight in a very similar way, though Kessler is the much better technical boxer and has planty of experience to go 12 rounds solidly, unlike Taylor
ANDRE WARD is the man to watch, hes the only fighter in the tourny that has great angular shots and delivers clean punches while moving effectively, his gold medal winning mentality could be a factor in that fight.
Just watched both the Froch-Dirrell and Taylor-Abraham fights. I think it's safe to say that Taylor is nowhere near what he was and Dirrell is just another overhyped American - all he did throughout the fight was run, hold and throw a few pointless punches now and again.
It's a tough call as to who will win it though, but I'm rooting for my boy Carl Froch all the way.
