Yeah!
What the fuck just happened, horrible shit, I mean these people need to stop kidding themselves and quit making music.
I assume they've been Yes Men all their life, that kind of people usually make good promoters, so there's still a career to make in the music business.
So many Holo tracks out there but these verses are him at his peak
If you wondered why he is highly rated by some on here but not got why then worth listening to these verses from various tracks
Can this thread be moved back into the Wu Chamber
Holocaust didn't even have to rhyme on this track to make it his own. He's strictly visual with this dart, and still took the track.
Damn cant believe this thread is still alive, I would love for some new holocaust music.
any news?

Somebody talk to Skarekrow and find out what the deal is with that album.
#fiendin...
It's been coming out since 2011, rumour was it's a remix album...
I found this post to be really interesting, and perfectly describes Warcloud. However, one persona I haven't seen mentioned much, is his Skeleton Lobe persona.
It seems like the transitional period between Holocaust and Warcloud, but also seems like a persona within the Architect persona.
Thanks.
Yeah "Skeleton Lowe" is a bit like "Alcatraz" to "Warcloud" in that respect-
Just not as much material, so I would put that style under "The Architect" umbrella
Although he does refer to himself as "Skeleton Lowe" in a handful of Warcloud tracks.
But I agree it does have elements of Holocaust/Architect
All be it with the intensity levels somewhat lowered.
It's almost as if he's :
Designing the dimensions of the pool as The Architect
Throwing people in the deep end as Holocaust
Dipping is toe in the pool as Skeleton Lowe
Sitting by the edge as Warcloud
Sinking to the bottom as Alcatraz
Returning from the depths as The Robot Tank.
Would really like to see if that timeline is correct
As I've heard he views himself as Warcloud
As well as how young he was when The Architect material came out
"Midnight In The Garden Of Good" was the first song I ever heard of him
So if it is correct people need to seriously sit down and think about that.
That makes total sense. It was truly no exaggeration when he spat the lines:
"The humble young merchant, 80 minds in one person/
They hop in and out time to time, that's why I'm cursing/"
I don't think many people realize just how creative he really is, and your posts really break that down. More people need to pay attention.
Good spot, also when he says :
"An Instrument Of Emcees...Land Mass Destruction Destructing The Cowards
Disapear From The Radar Screen For Hours - My Mind Is An Atomic Power"
&
"I Try To Think Hard About Every Rhyme That I Do....Check Out My Crew"
Both of these could be him referring to himself as others.
Don't know if you've seen this but if you like breakdowns this should be good :
http://www.wutang-corp.com/forum/sho...5&postcount=59
That was an excellent breakdown, it fully puts everything into perspective. Given the more recent tracks, I think Holocaust is going full circle and reemerging with his Architect persona, but with a looser flow.
His voice, vocabulary, and imagery of the persona are present, just delivered in a more unorthodox form for that persona.
I was also doing a bit of digging, and came across this verse that sounds like a prototype of a Warcloud persona that was never expanded upon. The delivery reminds me of Kool Keith's Mr. Nogatco persona.
"Love is evil backwards."
"Who Do You Trust School Or All Of Us ?"
Yeah that's a line right there you quoted.
Reminds me of "The Greatest Revenge Was My Betrayal"
I feel you about coming full circle with this styles
I thought the same when I heard this a while ago :
I notice he says Alcatraz on an array of songs where each time he sounds different
And is probably the most interesting given he seems to have evolved within that style
Bar far the most wide in terms of range as well as trying to identify
The known Alcatraz persona of the weird voice and multi's
Is often not what is attached to the name....
And given the name it could be some kind of holding chamber for each persona
Or the place where they all rest so to speak, like he's the vessel to contain them all
So under that name he could showcase any one of his choosing ?
Like on "Gun Grave" it's much more Architect-like than Alcatraz in terms of style.
Same on "I Catch Fire" :
"I'm Loud So Blood Is On The Wing Alcatraz Is Too Proud
I Killed 48 Men And 1 For Snoring Too Loud"
But definitely the most intriguing given sometimes within this "style"
It can't really be compared to others of the same tag.
Like this :
Certain tracks are hard to place in a category so I think in that sense you're right
There must be transition between the 2 to separate them.
I've never heard someone sound so different so many times.
Dude's on some next shit.
Whers is so awesome.
So in a sense, the reason the weird voiced/multi Alcatraz is so off the wall lyrically/difficult to identify in specific character, is because Alcatraz is the "God" persona that houses the 80 minds of Warcloud.
"People fear the mind of God, some are morons."
This line directly references the Alcatraz connection to all personas, but more through the perspective of the observer. Alcatraz isn't accessible to the average Hip Hop listener, therefore the often dismissal of the persona is countered, provoking the listener by implying he's feared because they don't understand/try to understand his mind.
(in the realms of this conversation)
Yeah I think that makes sense ^^
It's ood to see someone's mind get sparked by his lines, it's not nonsense
Sometimes I think maybe "he" just wanted to do something different
Compared to both Holocaust & Warcloud and didn't think it would be just
To continue using that name and evidently a different style emerges
This Alcatraz theory would be perfect as in...it's like a free or dummy run
Like he dosen't have to/want to take credit for?
Simply experimenting under a different title but on a deeper level this time.
In the sense that if GZA or Canibus for example were to spit a different type verse
They would still be "them" and most likely would get a negative response
As it is so far away from the norm of what the listener is used to.
But it's all under the same name/same person
Where this way it has a label or even better a new artist so to speak
Detaching from the other well respect art of the predecessors.
I'm just thinking Alcatraz is vast, so you could look at it like inmates coming speaking.
Architect : Before His Time
Holocaust : Self Explanatory
Warcloud : Down The Rabbit Hole
Alcatraz : ???????
The Holocaust : Blue Sky Black Death
The Robot Tank : Did You Know....
Makes you think huh ?
sickness
^^Dope! Some of the nicest bars I've heard from Pro!
off the New AP 2099 vs Mysterious
It definitely makes sense. It's like he has so much to convey to the listener, so he breaks himself off into multiple characters as a way to connect more pieces of the puzzle/'god'/foundation that is Alcatraz; but each is detached as you said, and assigned to a certain task within the collective goal of completing the puzzle. "Something made of pieces, fit it together."
And occasionally the separate characters are linked to each other, creating a whole new passageway. Like this reference to Architect in Alert the Local Watch.
"Creep across states, white with ageless hands
A being, of age old grace slid into place."
The Architect persona has really interested me lately. Thus far I've found this persona in 5 tracks.
Old Toy Room
Dark City (One Standard Lesson)
Woodchuck
Kill or Be Killed
Midnight in the Garden of Good.
"Skeleton Lode"
lode is an old western term from gold mining days for when guys would it a big vein or layer of gold.
a skeleton lode brings to mind a situation where you may come across a lot of dead people either from conflict or some other mystery
as a reference see this pulp western of the same name
