Not counting mixtapes we've got a gang of really good debut albums that's been praised this year. Personally i don't like Kid Cudi and all that but i know it's getting a lot of love so it's in the poll... it's great to hear fresh artists really focusing on putting together a good, well-thought out debut album rather than putting the focus on a hot single or track or working with the hottest artists and producers just for the fuck of it.
I have ordered Fashawn's "Boy Meets World" but haven't received that yet but it's gonna be very interesting to hear it since it's been so praised. The Skyzoo album is my favorite debut of the year, maybe even in a couple of years, brilliant album and also Sha Stimuli's album was dope too although i haven't bumped it too much yet.
BTW, have Torae dropped any albums before "Double Barrell"? I know about 'Daily Conversation', but i'm not too sure about if it's a mixtape or not.
