Rip to one of the grandfathers of hip hop. A true legend.
Well his lyrical and artistic focus were so socially conscious that he didn't want to be associated with some of the more hedonistic and chauvinistic artists and songs in the genre or stuff that glorified violence. He actually directly addressed rappers to take more responsibility for the influence they have on people on the opening track of his 1994 album.Quote:

Ali Shaheed Muhammad had beat on his 1993 album and i think the album he dropped last year had a gang of Kanye beats.
No he just used bits of "Flashing Lights" in the intro and outro on the record. Kanye didn't directly participate in the making of the album or contribute any beats.Quote:
