p.e.a.c.e. & thanx fam, sample hunting from my own hard drive?! Put down the laced blunt! Lol if i was choppin from my hdd this woulda been finished in 2 weeks tops, trust me! And i feel where ur coming from on the drum patterns, i wasnt focusing on that w/ this, i was focusing more on the samples and overall sound mastering, which i think now is better than all my tapes combined due to a vst i ran into not too long ago, this is more like an experiment tape using that vst......episode two will be more broad in drum patterns, best believe that! The drum patterns don't really bother me. I think this tape could've been better if u found better samples. I do agree with skampoe with the samples. some of the sample choices are mediocre IMO. and I know finding samples is a pain. but your chopping techniquez, mastering are always on point and the drums are always bangin. I personally prefer the Diciples of Teng dynasty 1 steez compared to this.teng dynasty 1 and fatal fantasies are still my fav tapes from u. just my constructive criticism. tape was dope as fuck no doubt!! 1
btw how do u get your drums to bang like that?? and what vst do u use for mixing mastering?? advice would be appreciated.
i use a pitch shifter and fruity compressor for the drums, and i use izotope ozone 4 for final masteringQuote:
