Tight bootyhole shit you do to save money

I can be a pretty big tight arse at times. I just don't like wasting money when I don't have to. I could probably list a lot of these but right now I can only come up with the 2 which led to me starting this thread, which are...

- Charging my phone at work so I don't have to use my own electricity.
- Keeping napkins from junk food (fast food) outlets and using them at home.

Seriously, I didn't buy any paper towels for at least a couple of years. That's what I usually use in place of napkins. I finally bought some when I ran out of Subway napkins recently.

I'm not too proud to pick pennies up off the ground or collect bottles and cans. I can have a pocket full of money with expensive dress shoes on, and I'll still pick up a dirty penny from up off the floor

Collect Napkins/paper towels from work for home

Pick up Pennies

Use bread loaf bags for sandwich bags

Draw on the back of paper that has printed text on one side

Clip coupons

Fill my gas tank when ever it is at half a tank

Drive in the slow lane

Bring home made lunch to work or food from to any outdoor event
(I never buy food at fastfood restuarants)

Recycle - cans and plastic bottles

Wash my truck when its raining
Watch movies on-line so I dont need to by theatre tickets
Go to free events with my family
Change the oil in my truck myself

Do my own tune ups

•sometimes at Subway I'll ask for a cup for water, then get a pop from the fountain.

•a local grocery store has a pay-by-the-pound salad bar. i'll pay for my salad then act like i forgot dressing and then go pour the dressing on so i don't have to pay for it.

•there's a chain of restaurants in western PA and OH called Eat n' Park. If you buy a sandwich, you get the salad bar half off. so i figured out that basically getting the chicken sandwich + 1/2 price salad bar costs 50 cents more than just the salad bar at full price. so i'll do that and take my 50 cent chicken sandwich home with me.

• i don't use the twist ties when i buy fresh vegetables at the grocery store because i don't want the weight of the twist tie to be calculated into the price of the vegetables. i just tie the bag in a not.

• i google corporate promo codes to get cheaper hotels

• i tell hotels that i have AAA but forgot my card to get a cheaper rate.

I tell all the sluts to bring their own fucking condoms

Dude, I buy junk food like once a month when I go out to the sticks and fish for bass and get home at like 10pm and can't be fucked cooking. All my napkins are from subway. And I'm by no means a health nut or anything. I just don't support spending enormous amounts of money to poison yourself and smell disgusting.

I'm more conscious of my level of fitness than my health, though both are important to me.

Today I went to the supermarket and they were selling the good burrito and taco seasoning for half price. It's usually never on special. So I bought 10 packs of each, even though I'm going overseas in a little over a month and will probably have to store them in a box in the garage while I'm away. Usually I buy 1 packet at a time.

packed shit is very un healthy..

so many toxins and chemicals in that..

thats probably the cheapest way to get cancer n tumas :p (cheaper and you smell nicer than u would if u used ciggies)

I also shit at work. Not just because of the toilet paper, but because if you take a shit at work you are effectivly getting paid for shitting wheras at home you are shitting for free. fuck dat shit.

I also steal nearly everything i can from work so as to save me having to buy it.

I bring my car to a friend whenever i need work done so i dont have to pay a garage.

I snort bath salts most of the time instead of cocaine to save money and keep the coke for special occasions.

The only thing i really blow money on is alcohol and music. My car is a fuckin bitch on petrol too.

If you gotta go you gotta go. I dont even know how you could hold it.

That being said its usually impossible to go number 2 in a pub or club bathroom.

I've also been planning my whole big upcoming overseas trip almost exclusively at work. I do heaps of shit at work because I'd rather do it on my bosses time than my own.

I don't do the car thing because unfortunately I don't know any mechanics or anything, but whenever I need something, or need something done, I think of everybody I know and see if I can find a way of getting it (done) cheaper or for free.

Pub i can do, but a club id have to really be stuck, like, if you have taken a lot of ecstasy in a club sometimes theres only 1 thing u can do and thats take a big shit and once you take a shit your mind is fuckin BLOWN.

All of my holidays, album purchases, car purchases have been done at work. In fact most of my 'corping' used to be done at work until i was brought into a meeting at work about internet usage and this site was brought up.

Actually, right now i am doing some 'tight arse shit', my work phone is an iPhone so i am using the personal hotspot to connect to internet, so i dont bother getting my own broadband

I wonder if peeps realize how we got it good in these industrialized countries where shit doesn't run in the streets cuz we got underground sewers. A lot of the world does not have clean water supply network too. Nothing like coming home from a country that doesn't have that and taking a nice shower back at home and a comfy shit on the toilet.
