So what direction do u think vince gilligan will go with this one?
I heard it would be before Saul ever meets jesse & walter right?
i hope it doesnt suck, and still has Yuel in it HAHAHAHA
Yeah I'm very interested to see how they are gonna approach it..perhaps they will start with his genesis story
bob odenkirk is the man... anyone know if he started with or does stand up ?
not sure how long it'll last though....

^^^^oh shit..now im stoked:Y
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has hired writers of the original series to help develop Saul – and while stars Cranston and Aaron Paul haven't been confirmed for any parts yet, they've both publicly stated that they'd like to be involved. Just yesterday, Cranston told Rolling Stone "I'd be open to it for sure. It'd be fun to go back into the New Mexico desert and play with all my old friends." Paul also recently declared his ambitions to Details, stating "Both Bryan and I want to be a part of [Saul], if they'll have us."
Hopefully they do the sensible thing and get these two guys involved, it will be interesting to see if they do how they twist these characters since its supposed to be more of a comedy.
Agreed that would be amazing..might sound corny but heisenberg on tv again would make my year
Seriously, you better.
Tomorrow and monday. It's going to be good, you know it is. I know there's going to be appearances by Breaking Bad cast throughout the series, hopefully Skinny Pete
How was it
1st one was great, had a big guest appearance from Breaking Bad but it was wasted, hopefully he's in it more and with more involvement and dialogue. Should be an excellent series, but we will see.
It pisses me off when they show parts of the next episode at the end of TV shows and give big bits away.
Yeah
First 3 episodes are good. I'm interested to see where they'll take this.
I'm liking it can see good potential in the show, his brother annoys the shit out of me but s'all good man
His brother? Am I missing something?
Oh fuck I thought that was his dad.
No you're 100% right. Don't know where I got that from.
I love it. It works completely. And I love how it's shot in the same Breaking Bad style. They didn't get too cute with it.
Odenkirk has you fully bought in. Well acted well written.
I had cautious expectations because I loved BB one of my favorites all time, but this does it justice so far.
hmm, anybody else feel like this show is kinda all over the place?... that tuco stuff.. that kettleman stuff.. the mike story.. etc.. cant seem to see a real storyline there..
its not a bad show (actually quiet entertaining), but ppl give this ridiculous ratings just cos its breaking bad related imo
^ I think they are building up to him changing his name and being a very prolific attorney.
The show is showing us how he made contact with individuals we seen in the BB series. Its a build up
The show is well written and acted.
just caught up with the show. I like the way it meanders from episode to episode, it's not that straightforward a narrative. gonna keep watching this on a regular basis now
I agree^
waiting for it to get to box set then imma binge watch the fuck out of it
the mike episode with his son was really very good
I hope this has been renewed ... I could do with some more Saul after binge watching all of Breaking Bad
such an awesome show so far, really love the whole mike history in the mix
Love The show. When is it back?
Season 2 up on Netflix now in the U.S. & Canada.
I think it's been up for a while in the UK.
It sucks that they didn't do a re-cap of Season 1 since it aired so long ago.
Season 5 drops February 23.
I love the scene in the last episode when Saul Goodman tricks the victim in the courtroom to point to the wrong guy as the guilty suspect.
I also loved the opening scene with the ants eating the ice cream cone.
The character is so fascinating, You never really get a gauge on exactly where his heart is. He's obviously driven to achieve/deceive people but he doesn't reveal much of himself.
We're seeing Mike's descent into darkness the last few eps too.
What will happen to Kim Wexler?
I didn't like the way Gus made that kid scrub that grease pit. Dean Norris plays a convincing dickhead cop Hank Schrader.
