The article says another RZA (Bobby Digital) album is coming soon.
rza announces things the minute he gets the idea so I wouldn't hold my breath.
He mentioned a new album produced by DJ Scratch on the Meth/Red Versuz dropping this year.
Also, this was definitely recorded recently but Pugilism was a Cure song title so I wonder if he dug up those lyrics...
Bob Digi !
I really don't understand this delivery style RZA's been on since around Digi Snax. It'd sound so much better if he'd just spit verses. I know Cilva's been trying but someone's got to get it in his head that this ain't it.
Nice cover art.
This has been reported as a DJ Scratch beat. Which makes sense in light of the announcement at the Red/Meth show. Perhaps it's a Scratch produced Bob Digi project.
The beat is also in the same lane as the DJ Scratch produced RZA & Ghost track from the Mics and Men OST.
I think it's a solid track but as CL2 said, it sounds like the Ghost & RZA track Scratch did so hopefully there's a bit more variety on the album.
DJ Scratch's beat for ELE 2 recently was a banger:

I'm ok with rza making shitty songs or sounding like shit because he's inclination to be weird or go by his own standard created wutang to begin with. Being a wutang fan for this long it's pretty obvious that he's hard headed but I dont' expect anything from any of them (not as a bad thing, but an I'm too old for music anyways thing).
Red and Meth sounded great at the versus though.
Good beat but we've heard this type of production too much. Could have easily fit on that Mathematics/Wu album for example. RZA sounds like he has a cold on the INS live performance tip
Zuuuuuuuuuu👍🏾
I couldn't imagine there is that much interest in new Bobby Digital tracks.
U don’t want a Drink, Smoke and F#ck part 2?
haha I know you were kidding but tbh I enjoyed all of BOAP, not just The Cure like tracks at the end but the party tracks too
Last time RZA sounded dope was on those tracks on Bronze’s School of the Blindman
Nice!
Well I can't say if it's nice, it's a personal opinion, but they can tell you if they liked what they heard to the best of their ability, given that they heard it over the phone.
Bobby will never be the same:

Y’all be buggin now..
.
New version of Pugilism released - different vocal take, some production tweaks, no pitched up backing vocals on the hook. Better.

Did you happen to rip off the original version?
Yow! Absolutely an improvement, it somehow went from a real lowpoint to something I might listen to more than once. Thanks!
I don't hear much difference between this and the first version, I think RZA's vocals are more laidback though.
I think this could be a dope album, although I still would like an old style RZA, not Bobby Digital album before I die.
.
Comment about a real RZA album before we die is spot on. But I don’t think it happens. Peace
Digital Bullet is my favorite RZA album. Couple duds on there but tracks like Brooklyn Babies, Do U and the Sickness are classics. Peace
