^ Technically I think Regeneration from 2012 was the last one, but for a proper Nas & Premo track, you have to go back 21 years to 2nd Childhood.

This album is a banger. I felt the KD albums were hit and miss, some tracks worked for me and some didn't but I'm liking this much more.
Premier just scratching I think. The whole album is produced by Hit-Boy from what I've read, and Nas even mentions him in the hook.Quote:

Although shorter, this is better than KD1 and 2. Nas' lyrics are really sharp and this album is a lot harder imo. Beats are on point and Nas' flow sounds great. I agree, this album would fit nicely right next to Stillmatic and God's Son. Looking forward to KD 3

I like everything about this album.
Yeah, it looks like Hit Boy has been listening to the feedback and gave us the traditional boom bap sound that we have been wanting from Nas

This album grew on me not feeling all the beats. He needs Preemo, Pete Rock , and The Alchemist.

Magic 2 really sucks. I think there's so much social credit that ppl get for pretending they like Nas that he's not getting real feedback. Nobody listens to nas and everyone pretends so if he makes a real shitter like this, ppl will hurry up to talk about 'I CANT BELIEVE THIS' and he keeps going. PPl telling him he's making shit created Stillmatic and he needs to hear it because he's kinda goofy.
Guess it’s all preference. I think Magic 2 is better than any of the KD albums. And probably better than part 1. Peace
I thought it was disappointing after 3 very strong Nas albums in a row.
At this point hes done more published songs with Hit than any other producer. I think the combo sounds a bit stale on this one. Either they should take more time on these projects, or Nas should move on to other producers again.
