Aight Skamp there are some things you have to think about... are you pressing this album up and is it going to be a quality product? I am talking about official shit jewel case, artwork and all that. Or are you going to just make it a downloadable mp3 album that you want to sell? There are several options...I mean dudes already hit you up with good info on how to sell it, but check this:

This is some professional shit... you get upc codes and all that, so it can be sold in record stores... so you already know its official... you just gotta make investments... theres nice little packages that are least expensive like this one:

you can get 500 cd's for $940 and you can always bargain witht the company. So look at it like this... if you sell each copy for like 10 bucks thats 5 g's minus the $940 you invested. So thats a nice little profit fam... you just gotta get on your grind.
Think about it if you are serious.... you and jig can def make some good money of this... its like $470 each you invest to get them pressed up pro style and then get on your grind... Its all about making a good product... your gonna need dope artwork, and high quality tracks to make this work, but I think you guys can do it.

Lets say you handle 250 copies and jig handles 250 both of you can def do that as long as you keep forming a large fan base and just og all out... hit record stores and have your shit up on the shelves... But your biggest grind will be out in the streets and online... get known man. Thats the point of all this music shit at the end of the day.

You dont want to be sitting at home with 400 copies left on some... damn we only sold 100 and we dont know who else wants it... so basically you sold 100 lets say for 10 bucks... made a good G, but not really because thats almost how much you paid to get them pressed. Based on my research, I think Oasis is the best company...they offer all sorts of packaging (jewel cases, digipaks, multi disk formats, booklets, etc) and make a real high quality product that doesn't fall apart and shit, plus they have lots of great promo tools like small posters, t shirts, download cards, etc
Net grind is what it is, but you gotta hit the local scene and eventually expand out regionally if you gonna really do anything...
Most important thing though is the quality of the music, from top to bottom - beats, content, flows, sound quality, mixing/engineering - all that has to be at or nearly approaching pro level otherwise you are gonna flop hard if you start asking for people to buy your music.

skamp, do you guys do live shows? if not you should look into getting opening spots at local shows, especially if you end up making physical product. if you get a local following, you'd be surprised at how many cds you can move if they're priced reasonably. if they cost about $2 to make, i'd charge 5.
