you wont get a "clear" recording without a studio and studio grade equipment
but you can get yourself a pop stopper, look up some foam options
ive found spittin with a wall close behind the mic to add a lot of unwanted sound
Put 2 big matresses in a triangle formation and throw the mic in there to the middle. The cheapest working booth in the world, you'll hear the difference right away. If you can eliminate the early reflections from nearby concrete walls you're halfway there. If you don't own these two matresses try one of these mic screens, they're great for small rooms http://www.seelectronics.com/reflexion-filter-pro
It's been a while since I opened this thread. I've made some good beats and got some pretty damn good vocal recordings too.
