Licensing deals are a headache for Wu listeners. In Europe, half of INS and Rae albums suddenly dissapeared. No Bobby Digital in Stereo even if it went out on the same label as Digital Bullet. No Big Doe Rehab anymore, it's a Def Jam album, all other Def Jam Ghost albums are there. Kinda hard to understand.

Since I play the majority of my music from a NAS, I only encounter these issues when I am trying to put something on at somebody's else their place. Which is also the moment I am remembered of why I do not have Spotify.

I think of all the things I was enjoying in 2005 that is straight up unfindable online today. Data has its limits and ppl aren't going to hold on to 50 year old low demand files (not saying that's what's happening here)
Have been noticing the same. It is already weird enough to see that Youtube or SLSK are the places to go for some unofficial releases. Let alone you have to resort to these places because there is not release on current platforms like Bandcamp, Apple Music, Deezer, Soundcloud and what have you not.Quote:

Physical media always and forever. Stuff can always be taken off of the internet, but once you own a physical copy, it is yours as long as it lasts.

The other day, I did a search for Killah Priest on Deezer. I returned a wide variety of releases that bordered on the absurd. Killah Priest vs Khia anyone? But no Heavy Mental to be found.
