There's some truth to it. Less so with content, but AI definitely has a huge impact on what becomes popular and there's all kinds of organizations behind it.
I'm not sure whats worse, numerous groups pushing disturbing agendas, or AI just arbitrarily turning things viral based on a mechanical algorithm.
