New song featuring my girlfriend on vocals, 'Alone'

Finally got my girlfriend to sing on one of my songs. Originally I was gonna have 2 verses of vocals in this too. I wrote and recorded them, but the tempo was too slow for me to deliver a vocal I deemed acceptable.

So I had to rethink the structure, and this is what I came up with. Hopefully the first of many collaborations.

Written, performed, mixed and mastered by Junior Wols.

Except lyrics written by Georgia Lee and Kerin Murphy, and vocals performed by Georgia Lee.

idk what came first, written wise, the guitar or the vocals but they go hand in hand.

really dont think you go heavy distortion like this normally with your guitar but it sounds damn good on this. gives it a nice edge. pulled off well.

most def, want to hear more collabs from the two of you and even this Kerin character, hoping that is a female as well, if its a guy i dont really care as much lmao.

yeah, she really gives me a Norah Jones vibe after a few spins and time alone with the track and my mind. speaking of Norah Jones she kind of looks a little different from what i remember her looking like. could be me idk. havent listened to her since... Come Away With Me album from like early 2000's... when i was in elementary school.

Sha, yeah that's her. When I used her pic for the song I thought how that'd mean losers on here would b able to do whatever childish shit they wanna do. Same with having her name n being able to stalk. But this place is pretty well dead now n I'm not gonna let that shit affect how I present a song on SoundCloud.

Mister Yo, the vocals were the very last thing recorded. Tbh I think it'd b much easier to get Kerin (yes, female) on one of my songs, than it would b Georgia, even tho she lives 2 hours away. I wanna work with both regularly, but problem is their musical tastes n direction r so fucking different to mine. But I'll keep working on it.

I'm feeling the guitars and drums on this and the vocals. Def sampleable (not gonna sample it) but gonna checking your other tracks.
