Yeah man I picked one up in the UK. Got it off a guy through the soundonsound magazine reader ads. I got mine for a bargain £550. I saw one on sale at an online shop recently for £1199!!!
Basically what you have to do is keep an eye on ebay and reader ads and snap it up when you see one. I wouldn't pay more than £700 at most, cos if you're willing to wait, you'll definately get one for that.
The tiny sample time can feel very restrictive at first, but it forces you to be inaginative with how you sample, and it sounds fuckin lovely!
Just chuck some drums through it and you won't believe how nice they sound.
