There is still no official release date for this game. It's been in development since 2012 and they're still airing out bugs, releasing patches, etc. Hopefully, it's released on PS5.
Someone who is heavily involved with this game told me that they'll never release it on PS5 because the ships make the company a lot of money. Some can cost up to $1,000 or more.
