Italy is still regularly reporting new (major!) finds in Pompeii after all those years, the last two if I recall correctly being a snack bar (yes) with colored frescos that were 100% intact and even had food residue and a chariot with erotic panels on the sides, possibly used during a wedding ceremony on the day the Vesuvius erupted
since in Egypt were not talking about a volcanic eruption back in the day obviously the finds are going to be in a different state, but still super interesting
