Didn't one of the episodes of that horrible hulu series talk about how they couldn't clear the sample? I just saw a clip on rza's ig. It still contains a sample from the released version.

ecactly as you said. They didn't clrear the original sample. The other version they used didn't blow out and RZA couldn't sign an album deal.
