Wouldn't It Be Nice has like a soundtrack feel like a movie scene montage. Interesting. Read Your Bible is kinda the same style I could see a dope video over the top of this showing like societies evil's etc with some big message/theme behind it. You should see if there is a vid or a clip you could put on this I think it would enhance it.

My current favorite Preacher is Charles Lawson who you hear on that track. All his sermons are powerful and give me goosebumps. My brother put me on to him. I'm subscribed to his podcast and listen to his sermons now.Quote:

New beat I'm working on sampling gospel records. Mostly just a chopped up sample at this point run through some processing, eq and fx.

I love these rough drafts. doesn't seem like they need much more work (?), esp. the first one, but I don't have the producer's ear nor technical knowledge/skills
both work well. I guess you'll be doing some more work on the gospel track which you posted last. I think the sample has great potential
btw I've been meaning to ask. do you link up w/ a rapper online or IRL to get him to put some verses over your beats. are you open to some of the rappers on here to use your beats? not asking for anyone I know, just curious
I prefer gospel rappers on my beats. But I'm open to ideas. I have no one to emcee. I hung up the mic many years ago because I got bad feedback and realized producing, playing records, making beats was more fun.
I tried to collaborate with Mr. West Ashley since he lives in the same town as me and used to post here but he never got serious.
I also go to some local hip hop shows and give emcees my soundcloud info but they bullshit around or are a different vibe.
Anyways, just send me a PM is all I ask.
Honestly, my best beats I don't actually post on soundcloud. I save the best ones in the vault for a serious, professional project.
