The track "Coming of Age" from Jay-Z debut album Reasonable Doubt was supposed to feature Shyheim the Rugged Child, but he passed on it and the guest spot ultimately went to Memphis Bleek.

One of my favourite track from shyheim. Beat is hard as fuck and shyheim is angry.
Ain't nothing tragic about it. It would've been tragic if he was an exemplary man, model husband etc and killed someone unintentionally. But he didn't grew out of the "thug life" and lived that life and ended up like thousands of other "thugs" before him. His childish, immature behavior led him where he belongs to.
I like his three first albums though.
