^ I think this is just a character for the new film because Daniel Craig's iteration of Bond is trying to retire in the movie. I doubt she'll actually be the replacement for Daniel Craig in the following movie but who knows.
The studios don't seem to have learnt their lesson that nobody gives a fuck about female reboots so I guess they might.
