i'm a producer from Toronto, and today just released a new album with emcee/producer Broken Pen (from Montclair, NJ but now residing in Baltimore). most of the beats were initially made in my SP-505, and then the stems were brought over to Sony Acid Pro where Broken Pen & I added more elements as needed. to further drive the dusty sound that we were looking for, Broken Pen mixed & mastered the album on cassette tapes.


not too sure how to describe our sound, we're definitely fans of 90's boom-bap but we have strong influences from trip-hop (like Portishead) and 90's memphis trap as well. would love if you could give it a listen! lemme know what u think.

Unique sound, it's exactly like you described it. I was feelin Bomb Diffuser Strikes Back, Beetle Juice and Ghost. Broken Pen's versatile on the mic like his style.
